  1. that's good. that damn china scoot i bought last year had stripped bolts straight from the factory. so i had to drill and tap some too. glad i got rid of it. your buddy's lucky to have a mechanically inclined friend. glad to hear it's all fixed and he's ridin' safe now
  2. i saw where someone replaced the bulb in the "third eye" on their 06-07 R6 with an LED. My 09 doesn't even have a light in there. how would i go about installing one?
  3. this is far from fancy or Home made but excellent. if you've ever had Denny's Swiss steak, tastes just like it. --ground beef, or chuck --1 onion 1 sm. pkg. fresh button mushrooms sliced swiss cheese McCormick brown gravy mix fry burger patties like you usually would, sautee sliced mushrooms and onions in olive oil until they just begin to caramelize top patties with sliced swiss cheese amd melt(provolone works well too) prepare gravy mix according to package directions. top patties and cheese with mushrooms and onions and smother the whole thing with gravy. there is no measuring, so you don't have to calculate anything according to how many you're serving. excellent with homemade mashed potatoes and Broccoli .
  4. plastic plants are Waaaay easier. and cheaper in the long run(ie. special lighting) and look pretty realistic nowadays . we've got a bunch of live giant Vals in a 29gal full of angel fish and they do really well with little care. by the way your tank looks great.
  5. i know it's a bit obsessive for me, but they are all well taken care of. granted it takes at least 2 hrs to do water changes on all my aquariums just in the 1 room in my basement, not to mention the 6 tanks on the 1st floor. the lizards are easy and it takes some time thawing mice and feeding each individual snake. the bugs don't take that much time to feed and water.
  6. ooohhh. i see. yeah that's crazy. did he get it all fixed after you pointed it out to him? they must not put loctite on the bolts at the factory or during prep then huh.
  7. what's your point? i'm not being an ass, i just don't understand what your getting at. 1 missing bolt isn't that bad? or i could be alot worse off?
  8. i actually almost had my mind set on a 09 orange and black gixxer 600 but they didn't have the 09's in yet and when i walked in the orange r6 caught my eye months ago. and i just couldn't forget about it, plus even with price match the r6 ended up being about a grand cheaper if they'd have matched the gixxer.i'm quite pleased with it.
  9. ive got 20 plus tanks of fish, all fresh but 2, 5 leopard geckos, 2 veiled chameleons, 2 dwarf chameleons,2 corn snakes, 2 albino checkered garter snakes, 4 western hog nosed snakes, 4 turtles, and a bunch of tarantulas, mantids, and giant centipedes
  10. yeah, they price matched my bike too, but everone locally that i talk too seems to hate them, say they rip people off, but so far my experiences have been good
  11. heh, heh, heh.indeed my good man, indeed.
  12. yep we've got a 75 and a 125 salt and i really wish they were both fresh. they ARE a pain and neglected.
