ok, went to get my tags switched over from the scooter i sold a few weeks back to the new R6 , no ploblems, stopped down at the dealer to 1) pick up some bike wash and plastic polish, 2) check to see if my Hotbodies undertail came in yet and 3) have someone ride my bike and see if they Know where the funny ticking noise is coming from. well the service tech got on my bike and said what's going on here referring to my right clip on having alot of play in it (i honestly hadn't noticed) yeah, the bolt that holds it to the fork was MISSING!!!!! i've only had this bike since may 13th. obviously it wouldn't come off without removing the triple tree , but still that's a little unnerving seeing how i put 100 miles on it the day before. But that wasn't the ticking i was hearing. guess i should check EVERYTHING every time i ride.

actually the rain wasn't THAAAT bad. didn't rain long. seeing how this is my 1st actual motorcycle i was afraid of the road being too slick. really wasn't bad at all.

that was an excellent article.now a stupid question, how do you completely eliminate any weight on the bars. mostly grabbing the tank with my legs or leaning on it with my stomach or both?

me and the wife went out riding yesterday, well, not just strictly riding i guess. went to zanesville, stopped at Doug Kane motorsports (closed!) then tho Colony Square Mall and out to treadway in south Zanesville. any members out on Maple Ave. yesterday? we may have see some of you guys but of course wouldn't know it. someone on a grn ninja and maybe a silver cbr?? just wondering.and got caught in the rain for the 1st time.yeah, that sucks.

congrats on the 1st ride and passing the permit test. the ohio rider's course is probably the best $25 my wife and i ever spent, you'll learn ALOT! and it's alot of fun. neither mywife or myself had ridden before the course, and even though i've ridden more miles than her i think she's a better rider than me.

we bought them both from xtreme Yamaha of Cambridge. got a really good deal on each one. they price matched my R6 and they were only a couple hundred bucks more on her Fz6r than another dealer that was like 4 hrs away.

just thought i'd post to say hi. just bought my first bike last month (09 R6) and my wife just bought her 1st yesterday (09 FZ6R).i'd bought us both scooters last summer(I know,I know what was he thinking?!) and sold them both and bought sportbikes. should've done that 10years ago. great site, glad i found it.
