  1. Enjoy the Florida Summer Heat! I've spent a week each in the last 2 summers there and I hate it. Kudos to anyone that actually enjoys that shit!

I love the heat. I go to Florida every year because my uncle lives down there. Also the chicken wings joke is the best.

  2. Hello, I don't really post much on here but this will be my last riding season in Ohio. Thank you for letting me be a part of the group. I have made a lot of friends on here. I will be moving to Orlando, Florida next year and will continue my riding down there. I will try to make it out for all the events this year and look forward to the riding season and warm weather. Thanks for all your help and answering my questions. I have a 2012 Yamaha r6 if anyone wants to ride this year. Moving to Florida because it has the weather I desire. Also my girlfriend lives there lol...

  3. I used to donate to them as well but no more. After I found out they are not really a non-profit organization. I stopped answering their calls problem solved. Plus if you do your research and find out where the donations are going then it makes sense. Nothing against donating blood but I want to donate to place that actually cares about savings lives and not making a profit off of it.

  4. look into real tv's.  like a panasonic etc.  as far as i'm concerned a LG is about as good as a insignia or some other chinese pos you never heard of.

I had to return the LG computer monitor I bought a few years ago because it had dead pixels.  in 2010 it still came with dead pixels.

thats low grade chinese shit right there.

LG is a trusted brand and they are Korean lol. My 2010 LG came with no dead pixels. Panasonics are not that geat and rate low thats the reason I dont go with them. Samsung, LG and Sony are the top brands for tv's.

  5. I'll actually be looking for a fast response rate TV soon as well as when our house is done, I'll have a room dedicated to console gaming.

Nice, Im going to use my 47" led 2d tv for gaming as the input lag is less than 2ms and a response time of 1ms. The 3d tv will just be used for movies and watching motogp with friends. But for best gaming results it would be best to use a monitor. Faster response rate and less input lag plus with 120hz refresh rate. The price on those are around $500 or more. I might get one of those in the future. I will use it for my pc and xbox one and ps4. Battlefield 4 would be a great game to play on it.

  6. Become a sponsor on here - that should help - also if your looking for some help - guard rail mike just started in the HVAC industry, but gl w the business man.

He just started training today. Congrats on the new business Grapesmuggler27

  7. That's because they have dynamic contrast which adjusts based on the picture. Not sayng it's right or wrong but that's why.

Nice. Thanks Scuba did not know that. I was looking at some calibration tests to make the picture on my current tv better. It shows on every test to have dynamic contrast off. The sports pre-set seems to have a better picture than what this test shows. lol

  8. Just wondering why I cant find out the response time for a new 3d tv. I have looked everywhere and can't find it. Some websites have a calibration tool that lists the input lag. Not sure if that is the same but from what I have seen the lowest is 90ms. Thats really high as far as gaming goes. Monitors show the response time. My lg 47 inch led tv has a 1ms response time. Is 90ms good for a 3d tv?

  9. I'm due for an upgrade but I don't game much anymore so I can't justify spending the $ right now. I'd rather buy a new dirt bike :D

    i7 2600k @ 4.5GHz

    ASUS P8Z68-V Pro mobo

    16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3-1600

    Corsair 1000HX PSU

    MSI GTX 590 GPU

    Corsair H100 H2O cooling

    SB X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty audio

    OCZ Vector 512GB OS SSD

    Kingston HyperX 240GB secondary SSD

    WD Velociraptor 1TB HDD

You should be fine with that. The 590 is still a great card.

  10. Surprised there are this many other PC gamers here... I built mine way back in 2009 then continued upgrading it. I got an i7 920 back then and really have seen a need to upgrade the processor since then. To give it a boost I got a Noctua D14 cooler and overclocked it from stock 2.66ghz to 3.8ghz about 2.5 years ago.

    Currently it's:

    i7 920 @ 3.8ghz

    ASRock X58 Xtreme motherboard

    12GB Kingston DDR3 1600

2x GTX 680(1 EVGA. 1 Asus) in SLI

3x Dell U2211H monitors for NVSurround

    Corsair TX750 PSU

    Sandisk 120gb SSD, 3x SATA 1-2TB drives

    Windows 7 Professional 64-bit

I may entertain a new build once the next gen console come it since that's usually what drives gaming tech/graphics forward in general. Things have been pretty stagnant with the PS3 and 360 being so old, upgrading your processor has been relatively pointless as long as it's a decent quad core.

Nice setup you got going their sir. I'm going to add a 2 TB WD HDD, Another evga 680 ftw+ if I can ever find one and a Asus 27 inch 3d gaming monitor. Looking to sell my 24 inch acer monitor. It has one dead pixel. what happened to this thread lol
