  1. My husband Jim who many of you have met before will be running the half marathon tomorrow. This will be his second half marathon. He ran the Capital City Half Marathon in May. (So did Princess Pratt btw!!) Anyway, I'm not running. I'm only at 5k status. Okay, a bit better than 5k, but not yet to 10k. I will be there to cheer on my hubby as he runs 13.1 miles tomorrow! Who else will be there bright and early in the morning?
  2. I was a Certified Nurse Aid (RNA I believe they call it here in Ohio) where I'm from in Southern Illinois. Back in Po-Dunk-NoWhere, Illinois it paid just as much to pop popcorn at the movie theatre as it did to wipe asses. Soooo.. the lure of free movies, popcorn, and no dookie on my work uniforms won. My family owned a ambulance service and I was a dispatcher there up until I moved to Ohio. I would like to take CPR classes again. Get a refresh on the latest. I hope they aren't too expensive.
  3. Oh man! I'm sorry.. I had to LOL! Nothing but love for ya Lance!
  4. Sorry I didn't make it. I fell asleep shortly after 6pm and didn't wake up till past 9:30pm. LOL I blame it on my long night of drinking tequila and plenty of beer Thursday. I'm glad you all had a blast!
  5. Bratz dolls piss me off! I mean do we really want our little girls to think they should be looking like a hooker? I also get ticked off when I see shirts or other items for little girls that say "I Love Shopping". Soooo.. they want our young ladies to grow up to dress like whores and also be consumer whores. Fitting I guess.
  6. She drives a Ford (Explorer?) I don't think its an Expedition. Its in the 2000's.. probably a 2006 if I'm taking my best guess.
  7. I don't know if I could handle a 1300. LOL Oh, that and it weighs almost 100lbs more than mine. Big change from the 750 I ride.
  8. I hear you. I usually make a point to not spend that much time with my hubby. I think that's the secret to the success. We normally keep our own distance and don't smother one another. We've been together almost 11 years (married only since 2005) now. It's good to have your own time.
  9. I wish I was right now.
  10. his bike? Why would I take his when I ride my own?
  11. Maybe I should. Being in this house is driving me crazy! Plus, the only interaction I'm getting lately is from recruiters over the phone. Oh, and last week I had a interview..which they chose someone "more senior-level PA" to fill that spot with. My self esteem is pretty high at the moment.. *grumble grumble* Friday does sound fun.
  12. Again? No..we normally get along wonderfully. Except right now. He doesn't want to be bothered and was hoping I would be going to visit family this weekend in Illinois. They are sick so I'm not. He makes it seem like I'm bothering him by holding a conversation with him. He just apologized.. but still.. I should just ignore him. It's not like I have anyone to converse with all day here at home except for you wonderful people.
  13. Weatherman says it supposed to be stormy and rainy all day Friday. *shrugs* I should take money from the hubby's acct and meet up with you all. He apparently wants me gone so damned bad. I should ignore him like the plague. Just venting.. grrrr.
  14. I'm so ticked off tonight that I am half determined to come. I probably won't since it will be me riding all by myself over that way. Grrrr..
  15. LOL.. nothing wrong with these pics. I think I must of deleted the pic of him hula hooping. So these are fine!
  16. 6 years earlier pics of Ben (Casper) at a picnic for a company we both worked at together. June 2003
  17. Hello Fellow Ohio Riders, Lurkers, and Spam-Bots: I am looking for a position that can put my 8+ years in the Information Technology industry and Project Management Education to good use. Majority of my background involves Operations, High-Level Administrative Assistant, and Procurement experience. Most recently in the last 2 years I have focused more on Project Coordinator/Analyst/Admin opportunities. July 31st I obtained my Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) credential that is offered by the PMI (Project Management Institute). My last position was a contract at Cardinal Health as a Program Coordinator within their Technology Refresh Program. Prior to that I worked within a company that constructs cell towers as their Project Coordinator/IT Assistant. I even worked with Casper (aka to the real world as Ben) for a while during my 5 years as a Operations Manager in a IT Services organization. I also enjoy volunteer work and last year represented Columbus as the Street Team Leader for Rock the Vote (non-profit and non-partisan organization focused on engaging those 18+ to empower theirselves and take part in democracy). During that volunteer position I even orchestrated a Rock the Vote bus concert with Downplay and Double Barrel outside of Ohio State near the Ice Rink. It was a huge success! I have 4 Letters of Recommendation available from The State of Ohio, Rock the Vote, FMHC (cell tower construction), and Cardinal Health. I am a advocate of Voter Rights and work as a Poll Worker/Election Judge in Union County. I am immediately available to start work in either a contract or permanent employee. Fulltime hours are preferred, but I am willing to consider part time hours as well. Please contact me via Private Message with your email address and I will email you my resume. References and Letters of Recommendation available upon request. Very Best Regards, Christina M., CAPM
