  3. Mine isn't really a "Go bag", but technically more of a "get home bag". I am going with the assumption that the EMP is going to hit during the day when I am at work and I will be forced to walk home. It is 30 miles on the road, shorter if I take the RR tracks. All of this crap is in a full frame military pack in the truck of the car at all times.

    purification tablets

    water filter (Katadyn hiker pro)

Small packets of powdered drink mix (to help water taste)

    MRE x2

energy food bars / hard candy (for sugar)

large heavy duty garbage bags x2

    matches / lighters

compass & paper Delaware & Morrow county maps

    cable saw

    parachute cord

    fishing line (snares & whatever)

    small assorted zip ties

    gallon ziplock baggie

    disposable rubber gloves

    knife

    hatchet

    hammock

    space blankets x2

    guns (M&P 9 carry gun & HiPoint 995) / ammo

    clothes

    -socks & shoes

    -jeans

    -sweatshirt

    -gloves

The pack is modified every spring & fall when the weather changes. Energy bars & MREs are swapped out. There is always bottled water in the trunk of the car too. Kids go through that regularly.

Almost same as ours but i also incorporated high calorie protein ( IE: beefcake) powder. And topographical maps which you can download for free online.

I unfortunately work over 30 miles from home so i keep hiking boots and a case of water in my car. I also have a dream list i want to purchase a nice set of two way military spec murs radios and a high quality scanner.

Just picked up a hennessey hammock on ebay w/snake and tree bands.

There is an awesome video on youtube no link cause i am at work (blocked)

BUT its called hennessey hammock ultra fast set up and its amazing!! Trust me buy 10$ in parts at lowes and try it. You will be amazed !

Check out survivalblog.com its one of the best sites going!!!!

  4. Its a slippery slope. Call for the disturbance it it continues...but there is not much you can do if neither party wishes to pursue charges. Then you run the risk of that creep starting problems for you. I would go to the landlord and let he or she know about the problems you are having get the police reports maybe you can get somewhere that way... Good luck though seriously that sucks....

  5. I have been looking at the FZ1's they are sweet but not very pretty.... better than the Vstroms though! UGGG i couldnt bring myself to own one. I have tons of friends that love em. I guess i am shallow. Probs comes down to VFR and FZ1. at this point unless anyone has a brilliant idea.

  6. Well depends a little on size of rider and lap times i would place a safe bet on 50 min. When we ran our 2005 600rr with a stock tank we were running 14's and 15's and thats about what we got. Its also good to go out in a practice with just one fuel bar and run at race pace and see how many laps you get once the last fuel bar starts flashing. I know I just found out ours turns red after it gets done flashing but we run a 2007. I highly recommend that approach it saved our ass a few times.
