  1. exactly. A well written agreement eliminates future disputes.

And some kind of arbitration clause should handle the rest. "in the event that a situation not addressed in this agreement arises, financial responsibility will be determined by a vote of team members, with a three-quarter vote required for the proposed solution to be implemented." And then add provisions for a 2-2 tie, etc.

We'll figure out most things just by talking. Other than rider weight, it would be good to keep people who run GP shift on the same team :p

Honestly I don't know if I'll even be able to afford to throw my hat in on the endurance stuff, but i guess we'll know more once we learn everyone's expectations.

For three riders last weekend we came out at 300 each including entry, tires, travel, fuel, food and parts(brake pads oil and filters). Thats on practice tires using old set from last year that only had a few laps on em for friday and sat practice then a new set of clicks for the race. But we can usually use the race tires for the next weekends practice. PM me if anyone has any specific questions. When the teams are ready to race please pit next to us on the pit wall we will help you in any way we can. Its the endurance family way.....

  2. This is the sort of racing I was thinking of shooting for next season. I need to learn more about how MS does it, but I think this would suit me better. And if I keep the 750 next year, it might make a good platform for a group bike.

Thats all they really race in heavyweight in WERA becasue the 750 is more reasonable on exits under power and parts are cheaper and more readily available. That would be a excellent choice!

  3. how many do we want on the team? we can either do 3 riders (if each rider thinks they can handle 1 hr each... i know i couldn't handle it at my current fitness level) or more if we want to distribute the riding time more liberally.

You can set it up how ever you like i know with WERA you have three guys and one alternate but you can only change the alternate 1 time. Motoseries is event to event with up to five riders. I can tell you we split all costs three ways.... entryfees, tires, gas, parts(ie pads oil filters). You crash you fix. Or you can say the first 500 is rider resp. and anything over that is 3 ways or vice versa. I know the initial expenses can be great if you are buying spares. Which you should since you need to get back on track after a crash. I have 2 sets wheels, clip ons, sub frame, levers ect..

I have been racing 13 years and have seen it all. But its always best to get it in writing. I have been stiffed with upwards of $3000 in repairs.

  4. SWEET GUYS!!! Let me know if you need any help putting bikes together!

Just a few more bikes and we get contingency. You should be able to whip me easy enough for the money lol! I think my best lap time was 1:15...but i havent been on track in over a year...

Need 5 bikes per class for a pay out. There were no heavy weight bikes threee middle weight and three or 4 light weight. PM me if i can help.

    PS:

    TRNM8TR i have a 6 car garage u can use

  5. Would love to get more people to race the endurance classes. Its cheaper if ya split it between three guys. Its a ton of fun and lots of race time. Great for honing your skills because its just pounding out laps. Speed is a by product of consistency... which is what really makes you fast. Would love to see a few newbies get a team together. The grids are pitiful.

    PS

I know a certain someone who can weld you and endurance tank...Wink Wink

  6. The post was meant for setting up the Q&A if the rider is interested. I really didnt want to get into all that on the forum. Hence the email request....But since you asked here are a couple details. Stock tank for now. Prob mod the tank after first couple races. Quick dump can is a yes suspension is 25 mm cartridge gold valve ohlins sprung. Rear is penske triple. I dont race a half built machine. Maybe in the begginer days but not anymore. And i have always had a three man team as do almost all the teams I have run with over the past 8 years and we have never had any problems with time or cost splits.

    Thanks for the input!

  8. Hey Todd,

Maybe i wouldnt have gone down if you hadnt parked it. I crashed trying to avoid running into you. And you couldnt keep up with me on my 600 with a liter bike. Oh and by way, are you racing because i saw you like 5 yrs ago for like 3 races. So stick to what you know which is pretty much being a whiney little girl! I like how you still tote the # 43 as your avitar... living in the past much?
