yeah no biggie. if hes smart, he'll throw in an MLS, some ARP studs and a hairdryer
:gabe:
I wouldn't touch an MLS with a 10 foot pole on this motor for boost....stock Victor Reinz or Elring Klinger work well....the MLS seem to be a lot more trouble than their worth is valued
-
wow, didnt know it had a BHG
no big deal.....easily fixed. the guy was made aware and made an informed decision....I wasn't gonna let him down like that

I found it easier to tape a striped stencil into place on top of the carpet and then shampoo just the carpet that shows through. Remove the stencil and you've got your lines. And they don't "go away" the first time you load up the car with kids & pets. :fuckyeah:
got a picture to share? I like this technique
I have a Bissell Little Green...that's a great tool for this job

I think so for sure...........I disclosed any and all problems it had and I got a bit more than I was expecting I could considering a bad headgasket (I gave him the spare cyl head I had to fix up)
new owner is a good man with intention of tracking and weekending it...he does trackdays a lot and he's pretty well mechanically inclined
just like me, he went from VWs (MK3 Jetta)to BMWs

she's off the Kentucky....not sure what is coming next but I won't settle for anything less than the perfect exterior color on my next car
sold her this morning
-
use a vacuum with a brush attachment....brush one way, next line the other way and alternate...pretty simple concept but hard to execute perfect lines

that car looks sweet and 160bhp with 2500lbs
it s like a modern day GTI MK1.....a bit heavier due to safety stuff and regulations
a tune for moar boost (and an LSD) would make this a MK6 GTI beater

i think "i like Whitney, it is funny." loosely translates into "i want to bone that Whitney chick."
I would...if I can disable my ears while railing her
