  1. I met up with dustin today, to have a tire mounted. Super guy. One of the nicer guys I have met since I have gotten into the sport. Extremely knowledgeable and more than willing to share his knowledge.I will send all my work his way from now on!
  2. im ready to ride. thursday, friday, sat or sun. whenever you guys say when. Id love to get a decent group together. I would really like to go on the entire sunday ride. RSVDON and I did a portion of it last thursday. I am free this thurs if anyone would be interested in doing it after I get off work at 4. I just dont know the route, so someone else would have to lead!
  3. The triumph i rode was a sprint st 955i. Super comfortable, just didn't care for the feel of the power.
  4. Ive gota get my tire. I hope it gets here soon!
  5. when i get the tire mounted this week, ill talk to yah.

  7. welcome! I am also from troy! We will have to go for a ride!
  8. It was an afterthought. We met up with rsvdon and rode part of the Sunday ride, and was heading home and I decided it was time to take a little break.
  9. I just stumbled across this thread. and all I can say is my my. I get waves all day long from harley riders, and I wave right back. Because we have one thing in common. we like to ride. plain and simple.
  10. no apology necessary, Bailing isn't anything to mess around with!!
  11. I think you guys have made my mind up. I am pretty sure thats what I am going to get this coming spring. =) Of course I may still keep the f3 around, incase my girlfriend decided she wants to learn to ride. I would really like to get a chance to go out and ride one for a day though, or atleast a couple hours.
  12. i been there man! Some days I go out and ride 300 miles no problem what so ever, I just ride and ride and explore and just find every fun road i can. Other days I go out and I wonder why I even got on my motorcycle that day.Somedays I have no motivation to ride, and I make myself ride and those rides turn out to be the best. Other days I go out and carve corners like its my job, other days, I just cant seem to get into the swing of things. Last time I had a day like that, I dropped my bike in my driveway. =( I decided that on those days, I just wont mess with her.
  13. im up in troy, and I get off around 4 oclock. I should have my new tire by then. I will be down.
  14. welcome! I wont be attending the meet, I need a new rear tire and cant get it mounted untill monday!
  15. most definitly. My girlfriend loves to ride also, but the f3, two up, for more than 60 or 70 miles is just uncomfy for the two of us. I can put hundreds of miles at a time on the f3 by myself. I hate to get a cruiser and have to have two bikes. Id like to find one that does both equally well. Any thoughts you guys have? I have always been a die hard honda guy but im not completly restricted to that.
  16. thank you for your service and good luck! Weve never met, but ill have a cold beer waiting when you return!
  17. I dont think i can afford that. I am looking at the 2007-2009 800s. I see the 07-08s going with low mileage for about 6k
  18. I have been extremely intrigued with the newer interceptors, mainly the 09s. My uncle had an 86 interceptor, and if i remember correctly it was more of a sport bike.I recently rode a triumph sprint 955i, which is classified as a sport touring bike. In first gear it pulled nice and hard, and the rest of the gears, not so much. my 96 f3, pulls hard all the way through. I am thinking about getting a new vfr this spring. Am I going to run into the same situation with the vfr as i did the triumph? Can someone give me a review of the vfr? I have seen a few of them around on here.
  19. it was a great time last night! way better than a few weeks ago!
  20. thats an s&m holmes frame and s&m ditch fork. I couldn't remember for the life of me what that frame was!
  21. haha I had almost 35 miles on the clock before the fun even started!!
