Feels like I haven't gotten to chit chat with you lately! Sorry, while you guys came over I needed to get ice, etc. I was glad he had visitors ... didn't want to leave him by himself. We appreciated you guys coming over! And, thank you for the movies. Everytime he pops one in to watch he dozes off.
But, at least they are there to watch while I am at work. Thanks again. -

What up chica? How did your party go? Wasn't it this past weekend? I wish we could of gone ... we chilled after the surgery all weekend.

Hey! Dave & I were watching the biggest loser last night and we were wondering how Tiff was doing?? I know how excited she was to get started ... it inspired me! Let her know I'm thinking of her, and please let us know how it is going. Hope you both are doing well!

He is feeling better, the swelling is going down a little. He is walking and stretching it out a little (the doc said to) ... but definitely slow moving. He is in good spirits though, but I am sure that he is going to get cabin fever soon ... they have him off work for 60 days. I just wish I could be off work with him, so I could get him anything he needed and to just spend time with him. Thanks again for checking in on us, we are getting along pretty good. -

I'm sorry I posted and gave a vague story. I know Dave had told several of you when we would be at Meet 'n Greets, bike nights, etc. Dave had posted on an earlier thread that he was having surgery but I wanted to be clear. Dave didn't go down, or anything with the motorcycle. He had an injury at work over a year ago ... had surgery then and now again. His knee has gotten worse from last year.

Hello All, Thank you for all of your encouraging words for Dave's recovery. Just wanted to update everyone. The knee surgery was yesterday morning. The doctor said that it has gotten worse. He cleaned it up in and around/behind the knee cap and we will wait to see how it feels. Worse case scenerio- he has to have a full knee replacement. The hope is partial replacement in a few years. He will be put into a brace after recovered from the surgery to help align the bones because they were bone on bone before the surgery. Please give wishes of wellness to my Babie! Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers. He is relaxing on his medication and I am trying to baby him every chance I get .. I am his nurse this weekend.
