She is SPZ9, not sure how much she is on though. Hell I still run street/trackday tires except for races. You can pull some crazy times on powers, pures, q2s.

I managed to take the bike down to him on July 29th. It was a very thorough tuning process, and the bike didn't leave the dyno until he was happy with it. I finally got the bike on track over the weekend and man what a difference. The power is back and all of the dead spots are gone. It was worth every penny. If anyone needs a tune done you have to go to DTM Brian's shop.

Jinu has made it through a few trackdays.

I wouldn't doubt it, who wouldn't want to race at mido.

They did putnam a few years ago but they kept getting very early april which sucks weather wise. I know Todd would like Mido but the rental is very high.

It should be able to, Jinu can do them on his and I don't think his suspension is really close to being set. But then he also just rides it with no concern to what it is doing.

Well crap, guess I need to step it up then. I feel good after cutting around 4 seconds this year, hope to be in the low teens soon.

Should be out either tonight or tuesday at the latest. It would probably be up now but they are running a trackday today. Brian is right, there have been some really fast guys showing up and making some of us really start to step it up. This year was a huge kick in the ass for me and force me to drop 4 seconds this year just to try and keep up. The turnout this past weekend was great, maybe just a tad lower than last round. Hell at the last beaver event they had 20 600 novice with about 35 or so on grid total. Motoseries has exploded this year with tons of new racers and some heavy expert tallent.

Thanks Brian. When I started racing I really worked on holding a line and hitting my marks every lap just because I know the faster guys will be going by. One of these days I hope to be able to follow you (maybe when you get old and slow down).

John, I'm sure you feel like I do, I want to know what type of bus hit me. Any time on the help, I don't mind. I just wanted a few good sesions on friday and I got them right off the bat. You looked really good in the race, just a few spots to really work on and the teens will be there. It wasn't the riding for 3 days that made you feel like you stayed in prison it was all the guys you were banging in the showers. Also, next time you don't have to move over when someone is going by. I have a better shot if I know where you are going rather than you moving in some different direction. Granted you just moved further out of my way but just in case you are getting split by two people. Wish I could have hit a 16 in the race but I guess a 17 flat will have to do. I know when Brian came by me towards the end I wanted to follow him into 12 & 13 but I was so beat I was having a hard time keeping my mind into what I was doing let alone trying to see what he was doing. At least I'm getting somewhat quicker and the fast guys are laping me later and later in the race.

First off if someone is there just for free track time they will not last. The people running the show notice and will not be asked back. If you have a problem with someone not wanting to help you please tell the person running the event. The free track time is a perk. I have seen plenty of people come and go through the coaching gig and the ones there for free track time never last more than a year. There are days that I don't make it out to get free time for myself and I'm fine with that as I enjoy helping people. I also still work on things when towing novice students around.
