  1. There are plugs on the garage side of the armco, I think they work.
  2. My scorpion is quieter than my arai. I make sure I get all my helmets on closeout or sale. Once you get to a certain level of helmet you really just pay for comfort and venting. You just have to decide what level of comfort you can deal with.
  3. They say you just can't gain time by short cutting. He ran about the same lap time and the trailing group gained on him. I hope they raise a big stink on this call. Wsbk is about the same as ama superbike, motogp is prototype based as in they don't have to produce and sell a set number of bikes for it to qualify. Motogp is considered the top level of motorcycle racing.
  4. This has already been beaten to death, a motorcycles trans is designed to do this (as long as it's done correctly) hence adding a quick shifter.
  5. Nate is 100% correct. The SV's can run at vintage days but you will have to get your license before then. Good luck BTW as it tends to bring out a bunch of really fast guys.
  6. This could be many things down to even bent shift rods in the trans. If it isn't shifting right on the stand and the bike is off I doubt its the clutch. Have you been using the clutch to shift up while riding? Clutchless up shifts can be done but if your forcing it into gear the shift rods can bend (don't ask me how I know lol).
  7. provided they cover it 100%
  8. you could hit the pavement on day one
  9. I have owned and Arai, then picked up a scorpion. There was no difference in noise or comfort. As for weight, I never noticed a difference if there was much of one. I just have a hard time paying $400+ for a helmet you may only use once. A good quality helmet will meet the same safety requirements and function the same as a more expensive helmet.
  10. I just picked up a bell vortex for $100 and it fits well. I will find out next weekend how well it works on the bike.
  11. Haven't used the gmax but I'm a big scorpion nut.
  12. I'm assuming he said that due to just getting back from germany.
  13. if we can't help you, I'm sure Rob Grabowski will be there. He is a big suspension nut.
  14. +1 I don't drink a ton of beer but the one yuengling I had wasn't worth all of the talk it gets.
  15. Just wait until Jinu leads you around the track.
  16. The only straights I will be running will have one hell of a turn at the end.
  17. It's OR, nothing ever gets beat to death enough.
  18. Lets just say, don't pass the race school down the backstraight then dump it in 12 on the first lap.
  19. First of just don't pull a Jinu when you pass the race school. Did they let the guy get his license?
  20. if needed they rent suits for $30. I would check pony, sportbiketrackgear or ridersdiscount for some closeout gloves
  21. http://www.ohioriders.net/showthread.php?t=73310&page=5 slim to none
