I have no idea what is going on with my oil pressure gauge in my car. I jumped in it today and took it down the road and noticed that my gauge is pegged all the way to the right past 80 psi. The gauge does not move at all . does anyone know what it could be before i go tearing things apart to find the problem? I put a new sending unit in it when i did the heads and cam swap.
How many cr guys and gals showed up? I am pretty new here and dont know anyone other than dyno brian, so maybe after a event and get to meet everyone maybe i will come to some of these gathering. sounds fun.
lol. I havent ran the spray yet but 2 times. the first pass on the dyno the wheels spun. 2nd pass me and another person had to sit in the trunk. I really didnt get a chance to really tune for the spray yet because i blew out my driver side header gasket. I didnt want to risk burning a valve so i stopped there. i wanted to uncap it after we got the nitrous set up right then see what she really has. brian will be posting the dyno run tonight or tomorrow. It was really really rich.
nx says it is 1 per 50. or just 2 to be on the safe side. cam actually wound up being 591/591 224/228 or something like that. i was going to do the magic stick 4 but i was told i would have to back cut the shit out of my pistons so i just left it alone with the cam i already had. I dont expect a 400 tranny to last. we have a transmission shop we send them to but i figured i would get a good one instead of rebuilding

I was just wondering if you were running the delco platinums? because i was told not to run those plugs with nitrous because they burn to hot and cause detonation. ok i will contact koolrayz. thanks
Yeah I just dropped like 4k with everything i have already done. I started wrong i should have done suspension first. and trans. But if i break mine it will justify buying it to my girl. lol sometimes you have to do it that way.
Ok i guess i wont spray for a while. lol . what kind of set up do you have for your nitrous as far as retarding the timing? Is 3-4 degree out across the board or did you do a timing twister on yours?
oh snap you will beat me. I can in any way spray off the line, my rear end will fall out or my shitty nittos will spin. i am gonna have to spray after 60 foot. And for the transmission I am going to have to get one quick i think it is slipping already.
Well i will see probably this wednesday. because with the spray im a little over 540 hp and a little over 688 torque. I left the car capped on dyno pull. I had to quite due to blowing a header gasket. but we will see.
oh ok i went 528.6 max power and 688.3 tourque today. just curious what your shot did for you. i am shooting 150 also. sorry for this being in this thread just wanted to know sorry I thought you were running a 200 or 250 or something crazy like that? mine was to rich as well.
