Ok finally fixed.. I had a mobile mechanic come out and diagnose it friday. He checked everything i did already also put it on some computer stuff and everything checked out fine but wouldnt run. he was about to walk away but tried one last thing. He took a gator clip with a wire attached and grounded it to the motor and then hooked it to the coil ground on the harness and it fired up everytime. so all his fancy computers and testers still showed the grounds good and coils pulsing. also showed a good ground but in fact it wasnt good enough to run the car. weird. so all that needed done was the coils needed regrounded.

Ok i was driving it in to work and did the same thing again. now it just cranks and cranks. was driving and the motor just died. scanned it and same coil codes. I guess now its time to send it somewhere

U sir r correct.. i reset like u said and then took it for a test drive and only 2 coil codes popped up, coil e and c, went back to the shop and erased the codes and then took it for another spin. came back scanned it and no codes at all. i still have no idea if it is fixed or not due to how weird it acted. all i can think of is it needed ran for a bit since it was cranked on so much when it wouldnt start and had to burn out some excess fuel.. very strange i will post up if the codes come back for more help. i was able to drive it home today.

yes codes cleared multiple times. I have checked every where online and no help yet

This is my vw we dont even attempt to fix them at all really but my dumb ass bought one. Now im more than likely gonna have to take it to a dealer to figure out what the hell is wrong with it. And yeah we paint here

Ok update.. I changed all 5 coils today and the car still throws the same codes??? It does atleast start up and run now but very badly. I checked all the wires from the ecm harness all the way to the coils looking and continuity, grounds also. everything tested out fine. Any other suggestions???

I still have these. no one has picked them up yet.

yeah i sold it this past feb. and bought a rabbit and an envoy. i couldnt afford to play anymore. i will get another one sometime and do it again.

I have a brand new still in box's granatelli weld on sub frame connectors(red) i bought for my 98 camaro. I no longer have the car so no need for them. $100.00 takes them. they may fit the older lt1 camaro's but im not sure. if interested pm me. i can meet up any time.

not really it is very highly unlikely all 5 went bad at the same time. coils dont go out like that they go in pairs or just 1 but 5?? plus the car didnt run rough it just quit running and wouldnt start back up at all.

yes the plugs that came out were vw plugs

just got off the phone with hatfield vw and per the vin# my coils have already been changed on the recall. There service dept had no clue what is wrong

scanned it today and pulled the codes -Check-Engine-Code-P0351-P0352-P0353-P0354-P0355. this is a problem with all 5 coils. any ideas on what will need done to fix this? i highly doubt all 5 coils went bad at the same time.

it is on the corner of watkins rd and st rt 40 in pataskala. elite auto services. not my shop i just work there.

i know i need to get it scanned but would have to tow it somewhere to do that. i will be ordering a scanner tomorrow unless someone on here has one they could swing by the shop and scan it real quick. are scanner we have is out dated and wont work.

ok will c tomorrow. any other options? is there anything that runs the coils?

no they havent been swapped out yet but 70k? isn that kinda soon to break?

I have a 07 vw rabbit 2.5 that just died while driving one day last week. i replaced the fuel pump and still no start. then started searching deeper since i dont have a scanner to pull the code. i pulled all 5 plugs then checked for spark absolutely none. so then i replaced the crank positioning sensor and cam positioning sensor and still nothing. Is there something else im missing the car only has 70k on it and there should be no timing chain issues. any help at all would be appreciated. i wouldnt think 5 coils would go bad at the same time. or maybe the ecu?

Found a person to do these. and also games for $10.00 flash is $50.00 pm me if you r wanting it done. beats 60-70 a game. If i get banned i will just use one of my other 360's. The money i save in games is worth the risk.

I have the newest firmware and played halo reach 2 weeks early and black aops a week early with the eithernet cord unplugged and no ban hammer yet. I figured out how to make my own games but dont have the desktop computer to flash them or i would try and figure it out myself.I have a imac 24 and not gonna take it apart to do anything, so i would have to buy a newer tower and dont want to cause i like the mac's
