bikes for sale. asking $5300. (can't seem to edit the top post or title)

hmmm, I'm pretty sure I've had that recall completed. but this battery is dead because it's 4 years old. I've been pretty lucky and get 2-3 years on both batteries I've put in.

Thinking of selling my Red Daytona 675. I just don't have the time to ride it anymore. Needs a battery, but I will buy one if you are serious. Almost 100% stock. Only mods: Pazzo Long levers and techspecs tank grips. Bought new in 2009. Title in hand. Only ~5800 miles on it. Babied, never raced, Battlax BT016 tires have less than 500 miles on them. Dayton OH area. Pazzo Levers Front Tire Rear Tire If I decide to sell, I'll be asking $5500

I know right? They took his bike and left him there to die? that's kind of F'ed up right there. I mean even if they thought he was dead... all they came up with was "F him, grab his bike and lets get out of here"

i was a walk on in honda in troy. my class date was in september so i walked on in June sometime. the first class i didnt make, but i made the second class (2nd day I tried). was worth it to me

The weird thing is I almost never see sport bikes. Everytime Im' out it's 97% cruiser and 3% sportbike and most people wave. It surprised me it was so few that returned it this time. I was so happy to actually be riding again I was waving at scooters too. oh well. i'm glad to see other people out there that still have some sort of politeness and aren't the F-the-world I hate everyone types. I'm going to keep waving regardless. Guess I'm just a friendly guy.
-
do we no longer do the rider wave? Second time out on the bike this season, but first where i saw other riders. the first 7 bikes i passed look at me and did not wave back. Really? bike number 8 finally waved back and i had a handful after that. All in all though i think only 30% waved back? Just wanted to check so I'm not the Noob out there waving when we're not doing that anymore. "Riders wave is so 2008"

personal favorite. I also like the springfield arms XD 45 compact. (4 inch barrel, 10 round clip with an 13 round expansion clip).

http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/2/6/10/8506/ITEM/Shift-Racing-Enforcer-Knee-Shin-Guards.aspx?WT.ac=SLIsearch anyone have any experience with these? I'd like to start wearing knee shin guards under some kevlar lined jeans when i'm out cruising.

online or in springfield? I was in the CA store yesterday and I couldn't find any riding jeans. those who have them, do they size similar to Levi's or any other company?

there's usually two sides. the BS'er and the listener. if i care about the listener, i will correct the BSer after he/she leaves. in my experience, you can never correct a BSer. usually I'll pull the listener aside and say "that guy was full of it -here are credible links to prove he was wrong" like the guy who told my friend he had an acura NSX 4 cylinder in his civic. "they only made the 4 cylinder in japan" and then "yeah, my 0-60 is good like 4.5 seconds, but i can go 60-120 in 2.5 seconds, that's where it really kicks in" 0-120 in 7 seconds... with a made up engine... that guy was adamant that he was correct too. some people...

yup. last year someone posted that if you stop your bike on the cutout (instead of the dead center lane like i used to) it should register the bike and change. i've had a lot of success with this technique. last time I tried to wave a car to get onto the trigger for me they looked at me like i was crazy/an idiot. After lots of waving they eventually got the trigger.

Wonder what their time sheet's said

Florida? nope... maybe So Cal though. too much rain in florida, and the roads are as strait as they are here.

I have 2 Valve Assembly, needles Suzuki part number 13370-04F00 and 2 Carb Gaskets, Suzuki part number 13258-04F00. All four items are genuine Suzuki Parts purchased at competition Accessories. The valve assembly/needle kits were 43.56 each. I sold the bike before I got around to cleaning the carbs. These were bought for a 2004 Suzuki GS500F, I assume they will work with other years as well, but please double check first. Asking $65 OBO.

These are still for sale. Sorry for being a poor seller and not returning peoples PM's Life kind of got in the way. Lowered the price to $80

And this is why normal people shouldn't be given 638 hp without earning it.

I had 260 miles on my brand new bike last year when i dropped on the right side doing a uturn in a parking lot. exactly like you describe. unfortunately my brake lever absorbed almost all teh damage and looked like the ring they put in a bull's nose. 1000 miles later, i did the whole kickstand thing. i kicked it, i felt it click and then threw my bike on the ground onto it's left side. evidently the "click" iheard was the stand going down and coming back up. now i have scars on both sides to constantly remind me to be careful, have my feet down, and now i always look at my kickstand before i set her on it. so yeah, i know how much that feeling sucks, especially the sound it makes. worst. sound. ever.

damn. i'm not sure what would make me more mad, the missing bike or the spiteful letter. i mean, that just adds more pain on top of it. good post though.

Triumph Daytona 675 fits everything you are looking for, I think. not going to lie, if i could have afforded it, I would be on an 848 instead. probably the 848 dark. how about an aprilia mille ? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Rare-Factory-Mille-Ohlins-and-radial-brakes-/130394204778?cmd=ViewItem&pt=US_motorcycles&hash=item1e5c19aa6a

correction I waz a stuntah. not planning on doing it again I can't remember if I felt weightless or not, all i can remember was the sound of the skidding front tire and the "omg this is it" feeling.
