Mine is an 07 had 1500mi and I paid a grand. They go for 15-1700 new. And I could take it on a track. I just don't know really if I trust it and my skill level that much. I'm ok with riding it in town and on the freeway. But pushing it that much... I'll need a little more time in the saddle.

Got an offer from a friend to buy his old bike. 96 Katana. Good running condition as he is a bike mechanic. Only bad part is front fairing is trash so I guess you could say it has a kinda streetfighter look. But he only wants $700. Opinions?

I'll do my best to make it to the old CC by then. Meeting my girl up that way and will ride in. Don't get off work till 7 technically. But will try to cut out early. Can usually if building is empty

As someone who has been in the military, worked with law enforcement and now working private security. I have and continue to applaud the Whitehall officers for their handling of this event. Ofc. Scott (?) was professional in her approach and her methods in subduing the woman. I have seen countless incidents where a person is seemingly no threat and a L.E.O. lowers their guard. Only to have it end badly. As far as the takedown. When training in any fighting/defense discipline. You are taught not to hold back and be gentle. That is how people really get hurt. The officers should be COMMENDED for keeping their cool and maintaining their bearing. Way to go W.P.D. for doing what was right, even if others accuse you of being wrong. (and For giving us the least wanted girl fight ever)

Know theres the Bike Nite at BWR. But the club I work at is having Jay Demarcus from Rascal Flatts. I'm working on a deal thatwill get any OR people in for at least half ($5) or maybe even free.

BTW, my girl and I will be out tonight (8/12/09) on our "no name 200" at QSL for bike nite. Yeah the thing can't get over 70mph. Yeah I've had to make improvised repairs since I haven't got replacements parts. (Long story, have to import thepart I need but it's safe to ride don't worry) But as far as I'm concerned. It's 2 wheels, puts breeze on the knees, and my girl love to ride on the back with me (till we get her one of her own)
