  1. Sorry, that's all the pics I have so far. You can see all the detail you want at the next bike night. I get allot of guys thinking it's a 999. The only thing that's Italian is the tail (seat, tail fairing, sub-frame, and exhaust shield), but the rest is Japanese. I know the headlights kinda throw people off too, and I was hesitant on using round lamps, because it would look like a 999. And I was also hesitant with the Japanese on the tank for guys thinking it's "riced out!". Its kind of a good luck/prayer if you will. Translates to "Luck be with those fortunate to brave this saddle" You see all kinds of guys doing similar things. Cruiser guys have "trinkets" or badges on their bikes for luck. Track guys have "lucky numbers". It's kept me safe so far.
  2. Yea, it's my bike. I wasn't trying to build a 999 knockoff. I just took specific body lines off of other bikes that I liked, and turned it into one machine. And believe me, what I spent on rebuilding it, I couldn't even buy a quarter of a Duc. I just wanted a totally one-of-a-kind machine. Anyways... Ill be at most of the future bike nights if you want to get the full rundown. See all yas there.
  3. If you are a sci-fi fan, you will definately like District 9. I was very impressed. And I was also surprised at how certain parts "got" to me. But I think that was the point, to make you feel for the aliens and how desperate their situation was.
  4. I want to win a trackday with nesba!!!!!!!!!!! No either date will work!!!!
  5. I love your butt.....

  6. Same here. I know most will disagree with me on this one, but my 600 has all the acceleration I need.
  7. I have always wanted to go, have heard people talking about it for years. I just never had the time/money/expierence. Now that I have quite as few years under my belt, I'm looking to plan some kind of trip. Is there a road/area close to Ohio that anyone would recomend? Thanks in advance.
  8. was thinking about how to go about this. Looks great!
  9. I couldn't figure a good place to mount it. I don't like under the tail, so the side it went. I have scraped it a couple times (before), but it just bends. It's not hard enough to worry about picking up the rear on a dive. Where it's at now, it would never hit, unless it's on it's side. And if that's the case, I have more to worry about than a scuffed plate.
  10. Thanks, that was what I was shooting for. I see all these rebuilds in bike mags that all look the same! No offense to the chrome-out/190 tire +15 inch swingarm crowd.
  11. yea, I might have to resort to the same.
  12. Sorry to see that. Hope everythings fixed up quick.
  13. Very cool design! I like the style alot!
  14. You would think so, but I did all the work myself; cheaper that way. As far as the headlights, to each their own.
  15. What did police say about the camera. I'm just wondering if I'm going to get a ticket for not having mirrors.
  16. I didn't like the mirrors, just gave me a view of my shoulder. What did Johnny Law have to say about the camera? Still not sure if it's legal...
  17. I really really appreciate everyone's compliments. I'm glad she's well liked.

  20. There is no real secret, it is pretty basic. Chop, grind, weld, paint, repeat.
