  1. I am trying to find a new Jacket before it gets cold. I have a great set of leathers for when I ride the crusier. But the jacket is not cut right for riding the GSXR.

I tried this jacket on a IP but they only had 2X and it was really snug

So does any one have any suggestions as to where to find and try on Leathers that would be 2x-4x.. I have about a 48"-51" chest with out any layers.... I can find all sorts of textile that fit from corteh and such.. but leather is so much nicer want it gets below 50..

  2.   nope I wish! I wasn't paying attention and a ladder was laying on the ground. I tripped over it..... my right foot got stuck in the ladder and when I looked back my foot was facing the wrong direction! :(

    that Sucks :o

But if you wanna go... I can always go home and put the Crusier back toghter and u could ride w/ me on that.... just an Option

  3. Never once did I say I was a Michigan fan. It's just too easy to get you Suckeyes all in a tizzy. I wish Canada would swoop down and claim Michigan as their own.

P.S. My jealous or your jealous?? I didn't get that high end English education like you Buckeyes did.

    Then your allegiance lies with?

  4. now all that being said..

Carry Guns (in order of pref)

    LCP

    Kahr P9

    Glock 19

    Sig P232

    SW 4043TSW

Bersa is a good Clean gun, decent waranty, not to much recoil in std target rounds. A little heavy for me for the amount of rounds.

Slimer and much easier to carry on the bike all day, Kel Tec P3AT or the Ruger LCP. Both have a lil bit more kick due to the smaller frame... so be sure your comfortable firing it one handed if need be..

The new Micro Eagle... looks nice... little thicker and heavier... I am sure will help reduce the recoil(still need to shoot one)

Also the Kahr P9 and PM9.. I prefer the P9 (bigger hands) if you not set on anything yet... there is rumor of a Kahr 380 and Glock is talking something "slimmer" ( but how knows)

  5. If I had to rely on a firearm for self preservation it definetly would not be a HP. I've heard of enough reliability issues to keep me away.

Most of those "reliability" claims come from people who A. limp wrist B. Hold it "movie/Ghetto" style. C. sit at home and rack the slide.. expecting it to chamber like its firing... but the fact of the matter human hands do not have enough force to handcycle any firearm and expect reliambility.

  6. i got a hp 9mm and love it. Im not a target shooter but have no trouble holding a 2-3inch 6 round grouping at 20yards. Sites were off when i got it as well but after siting it in...its great. Never have jammed or anything. another point of view. if your carrying on your bike, wouldn't you want a little less expensive weapon just in case it fell out or god forbid you lowsided and had a $900 weapon ground down to nothing.

just my opinion. unless your target shooting why spend the extra $$$??

And one good thing to remember about a HP is the waranty... LIFETIME.. Pretty much No questions asked... AND they are made right here in OHIO

  7. If not show on the Air, I think it could be effective to be shown in the Required Drivers Ed Classes that the state makes all young drivers take. I truly think that is where effort should be shown... and to get them while they are learning to be AWARE of Motorcycles and the hazards of textin...and even make drivers watch a series of PSA's every four years to renew your license

    just my thoughts
