  1. How late does this gathering usually go? I haven't been able to go in years and I'm dying to go again.
  2. First, you're very welcome. Second, it's going to happen. It absolutely has to. I think that this bike, in it's current state, means more to me than it is actually worth. I'm thinking I might have to just hold on to it until it's a collector and just buy a cruiser from scratch. Maybe then I'll have the best of both worlds..
  3. My apologies for the slight lack of information. She's got 13,700 original miles! Bonus photos because I had to go back down in the garage. http://imgur.com/a/mbYre
  4. Quick back story- Been in the military for a little while now (if the name didn't give it away). Got stationed in Southern California where my bike was totaled. Didn't ride for a while because I couldn't afford another bike, and the insurance payout wasn't enough to buy anything I was interested in. Considering they only paid me what they figured a CBR 600F4 was worth with 25,000 miles. Now I'm back in Ohio with another 1999 Honda CBR 600F4. I've been waiting my whole life to be able to ride around on cruisers with my father and his friends, and now may be as good a time as any. With that said, I'm attaching photos via imgur (because I don't remember how to do ANYTHING on this site), and I would truly appreciate your honest opinions. 1999 Honda CBR600F4 This bike in essence is COMPLETELY ORIGINAL! I have obviously gotten new brakes, a K&N air filter, new tires and chain (very recent), and the "double bubble" tinted windshield. I will include a dust cover, and the bikini day cover (pictured), as well as all the original accessories I have. These will include the spare key still in the sleeve with tag, original windshield, pin from dealer, sticker, patch, business cards from salesman, and hopefully I haven't lost the original 1999 Honda catalog during the move. For your consideration: http://imgur.com/a/SBoa1 And because I miss it: http://i.imgur.com/7TE6g.jpg Thank you in advance for any helpful comments!
  5. I'm just now seeing this.. And I want to go!!
  6. Amazing story! I hope they follow up with more on how he's doing! Wish he would have had more gear too.. :/
  7. Seems pretty standard.. You can find damn near anything on craigslist! Any Craigslist in southern California constantly has exotic cars, mansions, yachts, etc.. Just not as big of a market around Cleveland. Go browsing on San Diego or LA..
  8. He had a straight face the whole time.. Crazy son of a gun!

AMAZING pictures!! That looks like such a great ride, and I want the Kawi set-up!
  10. As far as my gear, I was fully covered, but not in leathers. Skin was saved, all injuries were due to brute force! I had on a full face helmet, jacket (much like a carhartt), leather gloves, jeans, and alpinestar riding boots. The boots are most likely what left my foot still attached! After being t-boned by a truck and hit head on by some sort of BMW touring, I consider myself lucky to even be breathing.
  11. I've got a nice little album up.. Glorious day in march. :|
  12. Personally, I feel it being an '03, and selling it towards the end of the riding season. You could definitely get it for less!
  13. Let's hope they get wise..! Nothing we can really do to change it. (Except negotiate laws, which I'm not opposed to!)
  14. I think you must be correct. It seems like an in the moment kinda thing..
