  1. ...and lots of tables!!!!!!

i plan on one or two good jumps before winter. a good tabletop is already in the plans just need good enough dirt. just keeping it simple without spending any money. i'll be doing most of the building with me and a few buddies. can't wait too jump:)

  2. Doesn't the rear have a dampener? Changing preload will only stiffen it up not make it less bouncy.

see the video is what i need to do but i think a complete service on the shock is goig to have to happen to get any true feeling in the shock back. anyone familiar with MPS off of hamilton rd. in columbus? i've heard good things about their service work. would like to know others. any help is help;)

  3. If you're around London the biggest problem is getting enough dirt to build a good jump. Being as flat as it is around here getting soil is hard because no one wants to make a hole in there yard. Unless you make a pond like I did. But my jumps are unimpressive as in my avitar.

well the land isn't flat, very up and down. the problem is it all runs to the small creek that splits my parents property.it runs along 56 to old columbus and idk after that. we can probably come up with some dirt with grading it around the track and seeing what looks good. right now we need rain, it just ain't as fun when you can't slip-n-slide and haul ass everywhere.:D

  4. I think you will be pleased with Brian's work, infact, everyone on the board that has had work done by him has all said how good he is. Oh yeah the bike pulled a little harder after the tune. It wasnt a huge difference, but slight enough that I could feel the improvement. I dont have a servo motor on my bike, in 01 they didnt have them yet on 600s. My PCIII is the older version and accelerator pump feature isnt compatable. I have heard that feature does and doesnt make improvements from other forums. You should get you midrange back but Only Brian can tell you for sure. Good luck with your tune and let us know the results.

i will thanks for the info, i'm going to try and get video while the tuning happens. show the pulls and hp. maybe i can do a before and after.:D

  5. I never look but I will now. This thread is meant to talk about my tune anyway. Get back to work.....

hey i've e-mailed brian at dtm and i think i'm going to get a tune. so it really pulled better? he said the same thing. do you know if you removed your servo motor or set valve? i have removed mine and it's definitley throaty but my low to midrange is lost. i'm hoping this tune will get some back. 07 GSX-R 600 K&N filter, two-bros. shorty exhaust, plus pc III usb. has anyone messed with the accelerator pump feature? did he adjust that?

  6. In 2004 I was trying to show off for some teenagers wanting me to do a wheelie as I rode past a grocery store and I clutched it way too much. The bike went to 12 o'clock I swear and scared the shit out of me. I let off in a panic and it slammed down so hard I racked my nuts on the gas tank. They couldn't tell I was in pain though because of my helmet, but damn it hurt. Plus it looked legit because I had to hurry up and bring it back down anyway because of traffic in front. I now don't do shit for anyone while on my bike. I don't do nor try wheelies anymore either. :D Power wheelies just happen though, but none of this clutching shit from me anymore.

hey i feel ya it can be tempting but i hold back too. i like my bike on two wheels it looks nicer.:D

  7. any MX riders know about jumps and how to build and jump them? need some tips on some planning before winter. plus the area seems to stay dry a lot any need to have it muddy or softer. my tires are taking a beating. thanks for any tips.

  8. Drag strip-

I suppose I'll spill some beans on a section of road most suited for the guy/gal who wants to top their bike out but doesn't want to afford a track day. It's called Finely Guy rd and is just outside Rosedale. It's 1.8miles, flat as Kansas, has not a single driveway or connector rd, has corn on either side blocking anyone from seeing you from side roads and the other end is visable to see if oncoming traffic is present. This section runs between rt38 and Rosedale Millford Center rd. Condition of the surface is slightly off but good enough to reach 140's on a V-max. Biggest issue is birds, I've caught one or two that were a little slow moving with my helmet. Nothing like a few feathers in your cap!

i've heard of this road it has a lot of burnout marks on the road. cars drag race there too
