You dont need to spend $30k on a car. I paid $17k for my E55 and it has 73,000 well cared for miles and has some of the best creature comforts someone could want in a car.

Yeah I think most people were scared of the car because of where it was located. I never understood that. It's never been a car that was driven a ton and it's got more detailed records than any car I've ever seen. Plus a PPI will tell you if there's any rust or problems like that. Money well spent in my opinion. I should have said mid-high teens. It's not a steal by any means, but I did get a good deal on it considering the mileage and condition.

Some cars had a defective gas tank and the seals around the sending units deteriorated. When you fill it up all the way the gas can leak out and make the whole car smell like a gas tank. It's covered under a Mercedes warranty till 2020 or some shit if it ever happens. So, I'm not too worried about it.

I drive so little when I'm home that I don't care about the rwd vs AWD. The 09+ CTSV is still on my short list and the E55 is a stepping stone I imagine haha.

The 63 isn't as mod friendly and doesn't seem to have the after market that the 55 has. That and I was able pick this car up in the mid teens....so it was a no brainier.

Haha I never even thought about it being tax season! Like I'm way behind on taxes and owe people money :lolguy: I bought the Hummer in Dec. and sold the STi in late Jan. I knew all along I was planning on getting an E55 or E63. Once I decided on the E55 I knew I would want Mod money. So, bye bye guns and hello 500whp. Everything for this car is retarded expensive lol but thats the nature of the beast.

Oh yeah forgot to mention the car was minimally driven in the snow and in the far north they dont use salt. Its sand/kitty litter shit. The car has a full paint protection on the front. The current owner has a 4 mile round trip to and from work and only gets up to 35mph (I googled it and confirmed haha). So to answer your question, I'm not worried in the least about where the car is. The PPI that was done went into extreme detail about all my concerns including "salt" or "sand" or kitty litter shit on the roads.
