That sucks to hear but insurance will cover the bike, main thing is you weren't seriously hurt. Gravel and dirt seems to be pretty bad on some country roads around here.
Construction is pretty bad down main st. I used to take that way everyday but changed routes after the construction picked up. They've been working on it for like the last 3 months.
I have a fairly nice Joe rocket jacket textile jacket laying around that I could probably part with pretty cheap to help you out. PM if your interested and we could work something out. I was using it until I bought my leather jacket. Was gonna keep it as an extra but no one should be riding around without atleast a textile jacket.
I'm sure I'm going to hello for laughing at this. First thing I thought when I seen this in the news this morning was how ironic for Jesus to get struck by lightening and burn to the ground. Lol now I'm waiting for all of the end of days discussions to pick up even more.
Hope ya heal up soon and get insurance figured out. I've been wanting to go ride hocking, used to drive down there a couple times a year with the old cage
Well hopefully my leathers with the liner in the jacket keep me dry. They seem to keep me dry but haven't rode in heavy rain with them only the old textile jacket. It should be atleast a warm rain, just hope its not too humid
Found a weather trip planner online. Lol I went straight to number two after asked if we had plans. I then went out and changed my front tire and got my bike ready so that it will be good to go on Saturday. I'm the one who owns the house and pays the bills but I do like to keep the peace so I do keep my number 2s to a limit. She told me fine but then told me I was going to get butt raped by some creeper
I am going to have to try this when I get home. I will have to do it around the garage door track but I will probably put the rear tire up on the stand to give it that extra support in the back to keep it from tipping left or right. Hopefully I can get the wheel off and and make it to the bike shop and back tonight.
