  1. Just found out about a family obligation I didn't plan for Sunday so I wont be able to go to Indian Lake (or elsewhere), this weekend. I'm still interested in getting together with people to ride, as originally posted in this thread. As shown in my bike info., I ride a Harley, but I'm willing to do rides with any type of bike.

As for the equipment discussion, sometimes I wear a helmet, sometimes I don't. Alot of it depends on the type of ride I'm going on ie. a large group, the weather, highway or not, etc.

Looking forward to riding with some of you in the future.

  2. Anyone interested in heading to the Tilton Hilton at Indian Lake? Possibly Sunday? The back way takes about an hour and a half, and we usually take 33 home (about and hour). Great burgers and sides for about 6 bucks. Very biker friendly. The place is a bit old school, in that it only takes cash, no bank/money cards.

  3. The annual Horsepower for Horses Ride will take place this year May 8th. The ride benefits the Last Chance Coral in Athens, OH. This place finds abandoned, abused, etc. horses, nurses them back to health, then adopts them out. The ride leaves from AD Farrow's downtown, goes to the farm, where lunch is served. The ride is donation only. This is one of the few charities that you actually get to see where the money is going. You donate what you want, no set fee. On the return, we meet at a pub where there are some great prizes given away. I've been on this ride since the begining, and it's been fun every time. Check out Horsepowerforhorses.org.

  4. Went to the show last year for the first time. Saw some cool bikes. Last year they had a great display of vintage iron and cafe racers. No English manufacturers last year. A cool place to go afterward is Southeast Harley Davidson which is about 15 minutes away. They have some interesting bikes of their own to see ie. one of Elvis' bikes, and more. They also have an old diner located inside the dealership with great food.

  5. The event is called the Italian Gathering 2009. It runs from 10AM-4PM. Admission is free, but parking is $5. This info is according to the Discover Ohio web site. Wendy's International is just east of riverside drive in Dublin. On the left side of the road. It is west of Sawmill.
