  1. Just over 400 on the bike so far - bought it new less than 2 weeks ago.. about 30 of those were a from a friend riding it home for me. But the rest mine!
  2. For me it was a combination of friends having sport bikes and the costs. I new I wanted a new bike, and most cruisers are gonna set you back 10k.. which was a little too much for my tastes. I might pick up a used cruiser in a few years after my sport bike is paid of.. But i'd probably pick up a track bike first - course that requires a new cage to trailer it with... I eventually want to get something to take on longer trips (multi-day).
  3. Thanks for the welcome. i finally got my bike about two weeks ago.. then proceeded to go to Florida for 6 days two days after I get it.. Since I've been back I've been riding every chance I get. Got just over 350 miles on it already, looking forward to getting it out of the "break in" period so I can really see how the engine responds. Looking forward to getting out to ride with people soon, now that I'm starting to get comfortable with my bike (don't want to slow ya'll down too much). ~Kenny
  4. I'd love to, but sadly I'll be out of town
  5. Like me.. I'm going to be skipping out on my slot in October near Cincy. I took the course from a Harley dealership because it was 2 months sooner.. means 2 more months of riding!
  6. Hi all, I'm Kenny.. been lurking here for a few weeks. I live near Cincinnati in the Loveland/Milford area.. Finally took the course this past weekend and got my Endorsement. Put a deposit down on my first bike today - a Kawasaki ER-6n (basically a naked Ninja 650). Very new at riding, only experience so far has been what we did in class. Looking forward to getting my bike soon and getting it past the break in point so I can have some fun.
