  1. +1000 very nice kit! Loads of power and feedback.. it makes the stocker feel cheap and squishy.
  2. 1. I worked as a male model here and there and spent a week in Miami about a year ago for a website. 2. My neighbors made up my username when I needed one to play Call of Duty on Xbox live. 3. I have ADD so school is incredibly hard and I spent a lot of time in extra courses and summer courses. I'm far from graduating OSU. 3a. Because of my ADD staying focused on the bike at track days is very difficult and also scary/frustrating although medication is helping. Every bike accident I've had (there have been many) was from my inattentiveness. 4. Outside the corporate environment I am very, very shy around people for some reason. 5. I own a small business but have a lot to learn and do before I get where I want to be. So, I work with photography and cinematography for now which is fun and I'm getting better little by little. 6. I work as one of the two IT administrators at an architecture company that designed Nationwide Arena, The Schott, RPAC, the new Student Union, and lots of other stuff on campus and in Cbus. 7. I always wanted a diesel dually F350 ever since I was a little kid. I still want one, haha. 8. I sold a bike and bought a Porsche 944 Turbo last year and soon after realized that I don't really have any interest in sports cars at all. 9. I get in my race gear and turn my city into a race track with my 250 sumo. I rarely do any other form of street riding. 10. I don't like to party but I do have fun; I largely just enjoy staying absorbed in my work. There are some things I hyperfocus on and spend weekend nights with instead of going out.
  3. Crap Steve its still fairly early in the season, too. I'll come over and help fix it up!
  4. Desmo. I would so call my dog Desmo. I also like the previously mentioned Enzo and Squid, haha.
  5. Officially signed up for the 7th, intermediate. Forgot how to ride though
  6. I also might be there on the 7th with the GSXR. Not showing up for a night at my new second job might get me in trouble though Anyone sharing any garage space?
  7. Niiice! At this price I should probably get another MX-1... I've had 2 and track tested them multiple times. Some people here have seen my current red/white one which is pretty beat up but a couple seasons ago AStars repaired some stitching and certified it good to go! Definitely a nice piece of gear.
  8. Sorry for the wait everyone, most of the photos from 4/23 are now live: http://m5racing.smugmug.com/2011Mid-OhioPTR I'll upload a few more for each group this evening after they get converted. Thanks!
  9. That was me! I was out taking photos of you guys since I still wanted to be there even though I didn't have a bike ready. I'll start uploading photos to my SmugMug tonight when I get back to CBus. Here's the link: http://m5racing.smugmug.com/ I have a few of the photos in Canon RAW format; if you're interested please let me know! David
  10. The weather Saturday looks half decent, darnit I want to goooo!! I have a project with the GSXR at DTM next weekend so I can't wreck it just yet.. but.. who wants to see a 250 Yamaha supermoto there Saturday?
  11. Hey, that's me!! Just took a pic to prove: Still rockin' my Spongebob baind aid haha. Thanks everyone; being there was a good time today. Also special thanks to Brian for letting me spend some time to tweak the Yosh ECU.
  12. Meh.. I'm only about 12 so I haven't had too many: '97 Cadavalier '05 Cadavalier '06 Torrent AWD (stock photo, couldn't find mine) '87 944 Turbo Stephen Hawkings edition (sold)
  13. Had a good time myself... was bringing up the speed with each session but then my throttle stuck open near the end of the day I'll try to be back on the 27/28th depending on money and weather and how well I heal up after punting a lawyer off his bicycle with my motard yesterday. Ouchies.
  14. Here it is, the Porsche 944 Turbo:
  15. Meh.. sold it and bought a Porsche a couple weeks ago. Between the Yamaha and the GSXR I can do pretty much everything I want so the RR was a little redundant. Phenomenal bike nonetheless.
  16. Nate, I'll pit with you. It'll be a good time
  17. I'll be there in I group with a gray/white Monster Energy GSXR 600 in a red/white AStars race suit. This will still be my first 2010 Mid-O track day after rescheduling my previous day in August and I am pumped!! I'm not aware of anyone I know going so be sure to stop over and say hey.. would definitely not mind pitting with someone for the day.
  18. I'll be there Tuesday in Intermediate with a gray/white Monster Energy GSXR 600 going slowly because I've never rode the bike before and I haven't been to Mid-O in over a year. Stop over to wherever I'm pitted, which I call Camp David, and say hello. And please don't ram your red rocket up my ass.
  19. I'll be there the first day with my WR250X as well Can't stay too long though since I have a track day at Gingerman the next day.
  20. 12" wheels are fine; you can go 75MPH all day long and they won't even get warm. 13" is good too since you may be able to get a radial tire which would be a little more gentle going over bumps. The loads we're working with are too small to really have any impact on tire choice but I wouldn't get something with 8" wheels that would spin at 6000rpm on the highway. My 5x10 has 15" wheels which is the largest for most trailers with a 3500lb axle and they're way overkill for hauling two bikes. They also have to be balanced otherwise you'll be limited to 62MPH on the highway as I found out on a 4hr trip to Putnam last year. I don't have to carry a spare though as the one from my suv fits the trailer perfectly since it has the same bolt pattern and overall diameter.
  21. Nah it'll be fine. I towed a single bike on a utility trailer up to Mid Ohio many many times with an '05 Chevy Cavalier.. no prob at all. Loaded up it was <800lbs total. It was a pretty nice setup but I got a Chevy Equinox last year which has space for actual people inside. Tractor Supply has some nice utility trailers for reasonable prices that are fairly rugged; their 4x7 fits one bike perfect for $500 and a 5x10 fits two just fine for a little more. I've seen quite a few of both at the track.
  22. Meh its not a lot of money.. Honda Northwest charges $49/mo per bike. My location is convenient to a lot of people in my area.. where a lot of people pay for convenience. If anyone is interested, hit me up.
  23. Heya everyone, I'm going to procure a 10x20 garage a couple miles from where I live to stash my 5x10 trailer for the winter. There will be plenty of room for at least two bikes and room on the trailer for other stuff. Is anyone interested? The location is Rings Rd. at Cosgray. $30/mo per bike is what we'd do. Let me know if interested!
