Spots are still available for the newly added KTM Race_Orange Track Day Experience on July 8th. Enroll today for your chance to ride various KTM race-ready models including the 1190 RC8 R, 1190 RC8, 990 SMR and 690 Duke. Yes, the popular RC8 and RC8R’s will be available to ride. This “arrive and ride” not only includes the use of a KTM motorcycle but fuel, tires and maintenance is all provided by KTM. Riders of all skill levels are welcome and will be split into three groups riding in four 20-minute sessions throughout the day. This event is open to novice, intermediate and advanced riders. There is no entrance fee to enter the facility. If you are showing up for the demo ride please state so at the gate and be prepared to show all of the credentials needed,those can be found here.

RC8's will be on hand as display only due to our KTM Race_Orange dates on the following Monday & Tuesday. Bikes available for street demo are: 690 SMC, 690 Duke, 690 Enduro, 950 Enduro, 990 Adv, 990 SMT, 990 SMR and the 990 Super Duke.

For the upcoming weekend, our experienced track coaches will be able to assist you in tuning your bike for our track. The extent to what they can accomplish is somewhat limited as they will not have time to completely rebuild a suspension, mainly tune. Moving forward in the season various track coaches will be available throughout the day to help you with all of your suspension needs.

We have received some calls about the age limit for the KTM Race_Orange dates age requirement vs. the requirement for Street demo rides. KTM Race_Orange dates require an age of 18 and valid Driver's license whereas KTM street demos require an age of 25 and a valid motorcycle license. Hope this helps.

You can find more information here on our site. To summarize your answers, times will be 1-6pm on Saturday and 10am-6pm on Sunday. All sign ups will be held at the Street Demo Rig on a first come first serve basis. The ride will take you out onto the streets surrounding the track which will take about 20 minutes to complete.

For those attending these Performance Track Riding dates, KTM will be offering street demo rides for qualified riders* (see below) on several of its bikes including the 690 SMC, 690 Duke, 690 Enduro, 950 Enduro, 990 Adv, 990 SMT, 990 SMR and the 990 Super Duke. These rides are not only available to riders participating in the Standard Day and Standard 2-Day Performance Track Riding programs but also to their friends and family. This is a great opportunity to test out many of KTM’s street products at a track you’re already going to be at – or should be at! – for Performance Track Riding. The demo rides will be offered in the afternoon on Saturday, April 24th and in the morning and afternoon on Sunday, April 25th. Spots will be filled first-come, first-serve on site. There is no plan for a complete resurfacing as it was done preceding the 2006 season. The Mid-Ohio School has a relationship with KTM and the KTM Ride_Orange dates are the only time we offer "bike rentals." The Mid-Ohio School and KTM conducted two dates last year and will do more in 2010.
