S-Tronic = DSG = Dual Clutch Gearbox. = Really awesome 4ms up shifts that let a bark out the exhaust. I'm a die hard 6mt fan, you know this, but they are unbeatable. Think GT-R / Veyron ect. Not a real "automatic" per say with a torque converter.

I couldn't live with only DSG vehicles, I'd have to have at least 1 6MT around at all times. That being said, I'm looking forward to the new 2014 R8 w/ S-Tronic finally. V10 & S-Tronic could really be interesting...

Yup, my B8 S4 had DSG, and I wouldn't take a 6MT in that car honestly.

Ever drive really easy on cruise for a long trip, it's amazing how much mileage we throw away having fun. A4 goes from a full tank DIS indicator of 300-350 to 475-500.

Yeah but at least you can cruise in the pack of people doing 80-90 and not get pillaged. They are a bit more reasonable there in that respect.

Nothing wrong with RE-11's at all, they are actually a pretty aggressive tire you could autox and do some light track duty with. If their bit of road noise doesn't bother you (I could care less) then go for it. A good competitor in that area is also the Yoko AD08. I've been licking my chops, and had my fingers crossed for serious rubber this year. None of the new 2013 hot sauces are coming my size though. Prob gonna have to stick with AD08's or something for the TTRS. A4 will probably get the PSS's due to their long wear, but relative awesomeness. Gonna hit up Derek when the weather is a bit better WOOT WOOT.
