LOL. A ride is sufficient, I'm having fun sliding my stock BRZ around round-about's on it's stock prius tires, already have tires on order, these will be intolerable for autocross.

If it brings them joy, I think it's a smart financial decision. Cars, pets, children, hoarding baseball cards. Money has to go somewhere, if you are happy, you are doing it right.

Or... For their purpose, they don't care what it costs. No 2 people are the same, we spend our money on different things. People buy new cars every day that will be worth 50% of what they paid in a few years. Are these people "dumb" because they chose to spend their money this way? I bet their feelings are hurt when driving their Benz or Lambo because Rocky said it's dumb.
