I know I'm going to lay a bike down. I know that because I know me. I don't ride like a fool. But, in the right place a will push to learn. It's an acceptable lose to me and that is why I'm so stuck on wearing gear all the time. But, I also know it will more than likely be on a track day. I know I'll get stuck in some pop up bad weather. It's ohio after all. Track day plus rain = me not going to do track day.

No, it's my rant, so I may keep bitchin'. As stated, it has been like this several times in the last few weeks. Where the weather says we are getting rain and then it turns out to be a day you could have riden. And 7-9 hours, if that holds, than I could have riden to work at least. I follow the weather very closely for work to see what work is getting done outside and to see what I will drive or ride that day. Just not worth it to be wrong. Ben, your skillz on posting radar are a plus. I know it's coming today.

Have you seen how Columbus people drive in rain? I have the right gear and the bike is not running anything that needs replaced. I can't trust the drivers+ the weather.

I'm with Shanton on this. Catch that 12:30 boat and be done with the island. Bring that shit back with you or cut it off. If you don't have a hook up, that extra hour or 3 more than likely won't make the difference for you. Drunken left overs aren't worth the trouble. First and for most, I say we look out for each other and go from there.

You guy's are on the same page. And I'm a new rider as well. I'm not looking to creat an issue that could have been avoided. I have a fun car and a daily driver that run fine. If I go down on the bike because I WANTED to get that ride in, well then I'm just a dumb ass and should have made a better call. Just not worth it. I'm very active with my work and my off time. Being injured and the recovery time, just is not worth it for a rain ride to work. But, I so want to ride more. BTW, for the new riders. There's a novelist track day at Mid Ohio in a early Sept. I plan on being there to learn this bike better. It's like $200 for one day or $300 for both days. Need the right gear of course, but this is what I bought my bike for. It'll probably rain, but that's my plan now.

The answer to all car mod questions is, " It was like this when I bought it". Unless it's a that year car.

Thanks for posting that cop info. That's shit I like to read and look for. The tickets the ticket. But sometimes there's a way to phrase things to someone and let them know how much of an asshole they are without coming out and saying it to get in more trouble. Most of the time they don't realize it until they get back in their car, and then they are pissed at themselves. That's satisfaction for me. In a totally unrelated story, 2 weeks ago I was pulled over on a country road doing 75 in a 55. He ran my info and let me go. I understand the balance of things. When I do get a ticket, it is deserved. I told him I was in a hurry and wrong. He was quick about running my info and on his way. Very rare indeed, but I'll take it and it's very appreciated.

My guy who does may tattoo's just called on this car and after talking to the guy a while, the guy then tells him the car doesn't run. And was pretty much a dick from there, yet never says that in his ad at all. No, we were at Mid Ohio for the Sport Bike race's, and rented a cart for the weekend. Just a crazy weekend.
