Thanks for the help everyone. The fix: command prompt: netsh windsock reset reboot and browsers function fine now.

Browser can't install, says need to be connected to the Internet. F@&% this, I'm done for tonight. You guys have been great. Thank you.

Brian, nothing in a browser functions. Unable to open search page. Going to try to install another browser from another computer.

As much as I think that may help. Because I have work info on this computer, I can't do remote access that is not direct DOD support. Thanks though.

http is not recognized as a command. Wifi is on. Have been able to do updates, so it is online. Just can't open a browser to the web
