  1. I'm thoroughly corn-fused by this thread.

    Right me too.

@ Benyan: You still In Iraq I'll ship here there. You can teach here I'm sure they will love seeing a woman on a bike. On a side note her father has been there since 1983 works in "communications" as we are told.

Other than that she already has the Honda its hers when she learns. Until then I have to take her around on the back of it. Was just hoping to get a jump on her riding before she takes MSF. Like I said in the OP we have scheduling conflicts with work and kids and one of us will have to burn up vacation for her to go.

  2. Anyone up to the task of teaching the wife to ride?

Yes she will be taking the MSF. But due to our schedules one of us will need to burn vacation.

Ok, I can't do it because we are married. If your married too you understand. In my experience its best not to teach anyone you know because you assume that they know what ever it is your teaching them.

She really want to learn but I don't think she really understands the danger involved in it either. You should see her drive.

My wife can ride a bicycle I did teach her a little bit about the how the clutch and gears work. And to walk it under power with the clutch (friction zone). I just need someone else to finish up and give her an understanding of what she is really getting into.

    Interested PM me.

    Thanks

    Lee

I'm sure I can count on you guys to flame and hijack.

  3. Looks nice man can't wait to break something and use it for like 6weeks while I fill your garage with my junk.

Speaking of using when are you going to get on that honda? Is gotta be about ready to go back together.

  4. What is the heating element to turn the ice to water/steam. Im guessing some type of combustible liquid/gas

Its the hydrogen fuel cell generates that much heat. 500kw of power generates that much heat also.

The place I work for has had a hand in three of Ohio State's electric competition cars.

    The formula car

  5. I went into work tonight only to find this in the shop. Its really very impressive what you can do with a couple of old bus fuel cells. It turns 300 pounds of ice into hot water in 90 seconds at 300 miles an hour, and it only makes water as a byproduct. Not bad for a front wheel drive car. They originally thought it would go faster but it ended up being too heavy. Sorry the pics aren't the greatest but their wasn't much space.

I made the mold for the front end.

My brother (20thgix) made the wheels.

  6. Good luck been hunting one for the triple, best I found was triumph TOR on CL for $15 and it was gone in 10 min of it being posted. I check ebay alot too but you are still looking at full price. Just stay off the Jardine that is listed I can't decide if I'm being rooked into paying more or not. But if I do bid/win it you can have mine its a hight mount just sounds ratty needs a repack.

  7. My wife went to school with him he is good. He has done the tire on the triumph he will get to climb all over the honda and go through it before the wife gets it. But I did have him get the rear brakes for me on the triumph and that was a month long wait. And that he wouldn't stock parts for it cause its the only one he has seen around. That is not a bash either just good judgement on his part. Can't have all the parts for all the bikes.
