well, Brandt came out this evening when he got off work and we decided that the FMF pipe would be easier to shorten. so we took it apart and pretty much cut it in half.. put it back together.. sounds MUCH better. has the same tone as before, just louder.. took it out for a quick n very cold ride, and it sounds amazing under a load..im very happy with it now.. thanks again Brandt! here is a before pic here is a pic of it and the piece on the ground is how much we cut off..

guess me and Brandt (oldschoolsdime) are gonna try to shorten my FMF pipe thursday.. ill update if we do it and post pics

..i already have spike windscreen bolts.. not the big fat nasty ones like those were though.. i didnt notice an HP gain from it..must have bought the cheap ones anyways... ill probably just shorten the FMF.. Brandt ill get a hold of you sometime and we will see what we can do with it..

here is my high mount carbon fiber one i bought and didnt like and took back off n put the other one back on... if this one can be shortened it would be AMAZING! id pay someone to shorten it as long a they didnt destroy it tryin to do so.. id actually rather have my titanium FMF shortened, then the carbon fiber one... id rater remove some packing out of the c/f one i just never did because the canister is riveted.. the FMF had allen head screws so its easy to take apart

LMAO @ your ear bleeding... i really dont want to shorten my muffler personally.. but if someone wants to do it for me.. lets do it! i know ill mess it up! id like to shorten it and run my high mount pipe

my buddy had a Jardine slip on on his CBR1000 and i loved the way it sounded! i just dont have the funds for nice slip on like that right now.. id love to find a way to make an undertail work on my bike.. or just shorten my FMF canister and used the high mount pipe..im just so picky on what i like that its ridiculous! but like i said i do like the sound of the one shittygsxr posted the link up of a lot

busa sounds nasty! i like it.. and the link that shittygxsr posted.. those sounds pretty good as well i watched those videos they had for it..PERFECt for what i want... i bought a C/F devel high mount to replace my FMF and put it on and didnt like the sound at all so i put my FMF back on.. still have that Devil if anyone wants it ill sell it for like 75$ canister and pipe

the 2nd video doesnt sound bad.. its not so much the look im after, just a cheaper way for a better sound.. i took 1/2 of my packing out of my FMF muffler and it sounds a lil better now (sounded shitty with all of it out) but im still not happy with the sound..it sounds good, but i just want a nicer and kinda loud tone

any where you go if you talk to people thats been there long enough they are gonna say it sucks.. everywhere sucks when you live there, its nice to just call a place home n travel other places..i was born and raised in dayton ohio, and i personally LOVE tennesee! but after being there for a while its nice to see that "welcome to ohio" sign..

could be the water pump, could be a hose that when the car is running the hose expands do to heat and exposes a pin hole and leaks from there... my mustang had a pin hole on one of the hoses running into the backside top of the intake manifold and was spraying coolant all over my engine bay, took me about a week to find out exactly where it was coming from.. it was making a mess on the right side of my firewall, i thought it was leaking out of one of the heater core hoses but i was off about a 12 inches.. like i said all it was was a pin hole, i just cut the hose down past the hole and put it back on 5 minutes of time and 0$... just double check things and make sure you know where its coming from before you tear things apart that dont need to be apart and end up replacing things that dont need replaced...although replacing the timing belt may be a good idea.. you dont want that thing to snap or jump a tooth on the gear, youll really be shitty on price of repairs then! my $0.02

dude use HDMI for your PS3 since you use it for Blu-Ray and gaming.. i have a 42inch LG 1080p plasma and use the HDMI for my PS3 and jesus! i love it!

Brandt..craigslist homie! find a gently used one for cheap..make sure it works before you run home with it and the people change their number and move out of state on you though lol.. no but for real, you can pick up nice used electronics off craigslist that work great and are good qualitly name brand for a decently cheap price! my $0.02

someone buy it! bike is actually from Florida and just made it to Ohio about 2 years ago for the first time in its life.. the owner (close family friend) received it after his cousin (old owner) past away and has taken great care of it.. doesnt want to sell at all but times are hard.. if it wasnt for financial issues this bike would stay where its at

i went down to deal gap 2 years ago..granted i was in a car cause i was down on vacation had the ZX-9 at the time and wasnt able to get it down there cause i didnt have a truck or trailer.. and im not riding that far on a crotch rocket lol so i cruised the gap in a Toyota Prius haha id love to ride it.. i have a truck now so i could bring my R-1.. you can get big chalets rented out for the weekend pretty cheap if you have enough heads to throw in some money, thats we i did when i went last time... id be down! good times!
