Tips: Hold onto the hips, or a part of the bike...no wrapping your arms around the waist. If you bump helmets(turtle kiss), it's not your fault...the person in front of you needs more practice. You get on second, and don't dismount until the person in front knows you're going to dismount. On second, off first. Lean with the turn. Wear gear, stay pretty. I've been "into" Beretta's since 1991, and I've shot almost every flavor of pistol ever made...I've owned most of them too... With that said, my current "carry" piece is a Sig P239 .357sig, BUT... If I had to choose one pistol to own in an type of defensive/SHTF situation, it would be my Beretta 92FS. 18 rounds of 9MM, absolute easiest pistol to field strip and clean, dead nuts reliable, and very accurate. I truly believe it's a pistol everyone who's "into" guns should own. As far as the safety, if I were to carry mine, it would be with one in the camber, decocked, and with the safety off. Even with a D spring mod, you've still got 11+ pounds of DA pull.

Note to self, never ride with you or your friends. I've said this before, and I'll say it again...Deals Gap is a road best ridden at 7AM on a Tuesday morning, alone. Yes, it's a nasty road...but most of the danger is from: A. Other idiots on the road, to include both cars and motorcycles B. Egos. Early morning and by yourself, you take away much of the danger, but you still get to experience the "experience". I won't ride it any other time... Once again, im very sorry for your loss.
