I know there are a few around here, I'm thinking of getting a Shiver 750. What is the Aprilia maintnace schedule like? That so far is whats kept me from buying a Ducati Monster (i like the naked have faired bikes). Has anyone riden a Shiver? If I get one it will probly be the one sittin up at IP
thanx

i just got the idea since i'll have no cost in the bike its self and usually go donw there a couple times a year. i was going to do the plastics my self just fiberglass over the headlight opening and stuff like that, i'd just hate to have it just sitting. i know that WERA used to have a 250 class but don't know if they still do

i have a 78, the only difference in the motors is the black motors in 77 and 78 (i think) had slightly higher compression and slightly different cams (ie. the cb750f supersport) which is the model i have, but correct me if im wrong

i've been thinking about this one but looking for one with hardbags

i've been thinking of building a track bike but was wondering if anyone was running the 250, i just thought it would be a way to get started cheap. any ideas? the only cost i would have in the bike would be to trailer it back from down south it was my wifes, then she gave it to her brother to learn on, and now he just bought another bike.

-
only have the cash for the rear right now, but pony is the cheapest i can find for the ones i've been running (shinko 009) i get good mileage (about 7500 miles out of the rear and have 11000 on the front still have tread but starting to scallop on the outsides) with them and no problems with grip

i was going to buy my tire from ironpony, i'm about an hour south of there. i was going to try and do it all in one day if i can hook up with someone to do it. i know there is a few ppl up there that can mount and balance but couldn't remember who

has anyone taken there rim to ironpony to get the tire changed? just wondering how much it was they don't have that listed on there site.
who else can do tire changes in the area at a decent price?

check with Top Quality Auto Parts. They are in chillicothe but if they can save you some cash it might be worth the drive. 740-775-8111 i think that is there #. Ask for Tim he'd be the one that could give you a discount
