The "star in a reasonably price car segment "was horrible relative to Top Gear UK's. They asked Buzz Aldrin 3 questions and that was that. Host to host interaction and the overall commentary was terrible. This can be summed up very easily, a show with no personality.

Sounds right to me. A noticeable trend is in Asian cars marketed as "premium" coupes/sedans are V6's with bumps up displacement every generation. For example, a 7th gen (2002ish-2007) Honda Accord V6 used a 3.0, versus the 8th gen (current) which uses a J35, 3.5 V6. The opposite can be said of many American brands in an effort to seem to more economical. Ford went from a 4.0 V6 in the old Stang to the new 3.7.

Anything trapping 105+ is plenty quick for street use.
