There were three photographers there. The lady you're talking about was Cheryl. Some are up on the OMC site: http://ohiomcforchildren.org/Photos.html
Any idea how I can get a hires copy of this image from the OMC site??

Its fairly obvious why they are working on ur bike.
ouch.......

I have never used Shinko's but I really so no reason to do so. When I am riding aggressively the last thing I want to be worrying about is if my tires are going to give me the feedback I need before they let go or not. I want to have total confidence in my tires and at this point the all the negative reviews on the Shinkos would always be in the back of my mind. Why chance it for a few bucks?

I may show...

To me it seems as though 4k might be a good offer for the amount of extra's it has that I would want eventually anyway
4k is what I was thinking as well.

I don't want to endanger any fellow riders. I think I'll stick to the streets for wheelies.

think I am going to go check this one out this weekend if I have time and he is available. Thoughts?
I think it is maybe $800.00 to much. I would have said $1,000 to much but that shock is nice

Hell yea!!!! Its such a freeking fun weekend. I have not missed on since 05' and will never miss it ever!
I had plans to go for the weekend anyway so this just makes it that much sweeter.

Glad I'm not the only one on here that rides.
It is also my profession. I am a bicycle fitter at a high end shop in Lakewood....

Just received a phone call from Mid Ohio. They said that my name was drawn out of the raffle box from ROC and that I had won a pair of tickets to Vintage Days or the Super Cycle Weekend for two. I took the pair of tickets for the Super Cycle weekend AMA races. Very sweet!!! Apparently 19 others also won a pair of tickets. Very nice of Mid Ohio. Thanks again guys!!

I'm totally against how we have laws that allow anything other than "motorized" vehicles on roadways. Just my opinion.
RIP young man.
I remember it was not to long ago that many law makers were yelling for laws that limited the horsepower of Open Class Sportbikes due to the failure of some riders to follow the basic laws of the road on them and they were afraid that the riders of these high horsepower motorcycles would kill themselves and others. Be careful with wanting laws that impose restrictions on your freedom to ride what you want.
I have been riding road bikes (bicycles) on the road for over 20 years and i ride around 9,000 miles per year and knock on wood I have never had any issues with traffic. Maybe you need to look past the bike Nick and look at who is riding it and how.

We bitch that fuel prices are to high. We bitch that most of our fuel comes from over seas. We can't have our cake and eat it to folks. Sometimes shit just happens. Until we open our eyes and wallets to alternative energy this kinda thing will happen. Price of keeping the population in cheap oil.

That's the XX: A viffer with balls
I may need to ride one some day....*wink wink*

I thought that VFR you got did everything!?
Controls the weather
WTF is up with the 'wet roads and standing water'. Viffer, FTL.
You missed the VFR memo. It does not control the weather it just does not care what it is. Even in the pouring rain I stayed 90% dry. I love my bike more everytime I ride it
I do wish it had a bit more balls though.

just did tire change and now gotta get oil. i'm comin out unless it rains.
nice looking R1 by the way......I drooled.
-
meh, I'd rather puss out than crash out.
Actually not going with a questionable tire was the right move today. We hit periods of pretty wet roads today and on the way home about 20 minutes from the house I was hit with a deluge. Lots of deep standing water. You made the right call....
