I like it and I bet it sounds better in person. That levels are probably getting jacked up because of the recording device, and that's why it sounds a bit off maybe. I think what we need to focus on is how shitty of a job they did strapping that bitch down to the dyno.

A 50mm is on my want list. I have a kit 70-200MM, but will be shooting with a nicer one this weekend. Should be interesting to see how big a difference it makes.

I might try them for the next one. I was very impressed with how Midwest handled the situation, and their service so far has been great. The guy took the time to really explain the differences between the glass and listen to how I was going to be using it.

They actually just called and said that lens is spoken for, so I will be using the next step up, darn...

Well I'm going to rent a 28-75 for the weekend and see how I like it on my camera. I don't see myself moving up to a new body anytime soon so this will be a good test for the lens on my junk :lolguy:

This is one of the best races in the midwest hands down. You will see some of the best small tire and grudge racing at this event. I am going up early on Friday to shoot photos, video, and get our pit spot for the weekend. Not sure if any other locals will be racing besides Ray. Pretty sure they close to what the requirements are for a bike. You might need a neck collar, but I would call trails just to be safe. I don't know if they will let you run bikes but I am willing to bet you can't run cars. I have run 4-wheelers at KD Dragway, but I don't think trails will let that much hillbilly-ghetto stuff go down.

I don't speak that pretty science talk, but I know one thing: One company has a running car and the other has a sack of fuck that can't move under its own power. Not hard to see who is better at what they do...

There were lots of people asking about his car, and there was a crowd every time he made a hit. This was a great experience and the mixture of cars was pretty cool.

Still playing with how I use the GoPro at the track. If the editor from High Performance Pontiac likes this they will use it in their online article, and on the QR code app. So when someone scans the special code it will take them to the video. So depending on what happens I might be getting paid to do more work for different publications, and will expand into the print world.
