  1. No, no they are not and most track rentals are not. Unless you go to Norwalk and pay about $5,000 for one lane for 8 hours. The issues causing this epic amount of butthurt stem from SEVERAL people putting SHITLOADS of fluid on the track. We are talking so bad they had to get the torch out and scrape the track. Getting synthetic fluid off any racing surface 100% is not an easy task at all. Could they prep the line better? Yes, they can but it is what it is. Good luck getting a track rental together on your own and running it.
  2. But everybody will have healthcare and none of these extra costs will be passed on to you!
  3. Nope, they just eat the giant shit sammich that was fed to them and hope someone in the 53% will wipe the extra shit off their face. There are parts of the law that are a good thing, but the majority is total crap and will impact all of us in a bad way. OH HAI MOAR TAXES FOR YOOOOOOOUUUUUUU
  4. Here is something to think about today when you vote... http://finance.yahoo.com/news/health-law-spurs-shift-hours-022100532.html
  5. Some people just know how to adjust and drive a car for conditions...
  6. Over 200 on leaf springs :fuckyeah: Skip to the 2:00 mark to see the pass
  7. No, but this guy has got a little somethin somethin for ya http://www.threadbombing.com/data/media/3/creepy-tiger-costume.jpg

  10. With the amount of fluid that was put down you would think top fuel cars were running. I also learned first hand this weekend how hard it is to clean up, even more so when there is a lot down.
  11. Yes, one of the top tracks in Ohio when it comes to prep. If you get that 7.50 class started I might have to put a 100 shot on my car and come play...
  12. Best everclear comes in a mason jar from people who think the south will rise again, but that stuff there will get you ripped off your frame.
  13. What if the wall is made of Marion? I think the point has been made, set on fire, put out, then set back on fire again....
  14. Set up a suspension? Bring the power on later? Why do that when you can just go to Marion?
  15. Triple because I have the fastest stock bottom end yaris on columbus racing that runs on pump gas hopes and dreams PERIOD
  16. Note the lack fo guardrail on the tower lane... I have made a lot of passes at that place, fucking beyond sketchy. I have raced 4wheelers, bikes, and a home built car that was some tube steel, a seat, and driveline with no body.
  17. BINGFMOTHERFUCKINGO There are going to be times that even a "good" track is going to have traction issues. What do you do when it gets hot? Post on mothernatureracing.com and ask her to turn down the heat? If you are want "good track prep" for heads up racing you have to travel, period. If you are not willing to travel then learn to set your stuff up to run on less than perfect conditions. Maybe go to some actual big events and race? When I ran NHRA Unleashed at trails that track was set on kill. Granted, they had NHRA people doing the prep, but bigger events bring out faster people and bring track prep. Marion is a joke, they don't prep for TnT nights, and do just as shitty job of clean up if not worse than trails. I have been there 4 times, made 20-30 hits there and only had MAYBE 2 clean passes.
  18. Thanks, glad you liked it. Next year will be fun because I will be helping out and doing race coverage at the same time. Yeah, I really wanted to go but work could not spare me this week. I plan on putting my PTO requests in as soon as I get next years race dates from Ray.
  19. How did I know this was coming? What tracks have you gone to besides Hillbillyville Marion and Trails? I have been to plenty of tracks that prep for prep the hell out of their track for the weekly program, because they are good tracks and have big car counts. Better tracks also have better competition, hence better track prep too. I have seen Indy, Norwalk, Beach Bend, Milan, Thompson, and even Kil Kare stop several times during a session to spray and drag a track. Why do you think Norwalk has so many cars show up WEEKLY for their bracket program? Because they give the track teeth. And I will bite on your very cute loaded question about have fast I have gone. Fastest I have ever gone with my car built on blah blah blah an hour was 12.50. Nothing special at all, never said it was. HOWEVER I actually go to the track, help others with even faster cars and learn more and more. We ALL know what you have done since you point it out all the time, write it on the wind shield of your truck, so at this point there really is no point in reminded us all yet again... ANYWAY now that we have that out of the way, great job to mark and IPS on being number 1 qualifier, just keep the 6 second bracket car in the hunt.
  20. Did finalize, Winking Lizard on Bethal. I was thinking of making this a once a quarter thing if the demand is there.
  21. After you made your pass the only thing you heard on the radio channel was "damn that was impressive" I got a laugh
  22. Not sure if drunk, stupid, or trolling....
  23. People bitch that LSX motors get put in all kinds of stuff, this is different and nasty.
  24. I drove my A4 LT1 car for 2 years with light mods and no issues. If you don't plan on really beating on it an auto car will be less to deal with as far as clutch issues.
