Electricity is the science, engineering, technology and physical phenomena associated with the presence and flow of electric charges. Electricity gives a wide variety of well-known electrical effects, such as lightning, static electricity, electromagnetic induction and the flow of electrical current in an electrical wire. In addition, electricity permits the creation and reception of electromagnetic radiation such as radio waves. In electricity, charges produce electromagnetic fields which act on other charges. Electricity occurs due to several types of physics: electric charge: a property of some subatomic particles, which determines their electromagnetic interactions. Electrically charged matter is influenced by, and produces, electromagnetic fields. electric current: a movement or flow of electrically charged particles, typically measured in amperes. electric field (see electrostatics): an especially simple type of electromagnetic field produced by an electric charge even when it is not moving (i.e., there is no electric current). The electric field produces a force on other charges in its vicinity. Moving charges additionally produce a magnetic field. electric potential: the capacity of an electric field to do work on an electric charge, typically measured in volts. electromagnets: electrical currents generate magnetic fields, and changing magnetic fields generate electrical currents In electrical engineering, electricity is used for: electric power (which can refer imprecisely to a quantity of electrical potential energy or else more correctly to electrical energy per time) that is provided commercially, by the electrical power industry. In a loose but common use of the term, "electricity" may be used to mean "wired for electricity" which means a working connection to an electric power station. Such a connection grants the user of "electricity" access to the electric field present in electrical wiring, and thus to electric power. electronics which deals with electrical circuits that involve active electrical components such as vacuum tubes, transistors, diodes and integrated circuits, and associated passive interconnection technologies. Electrical phenomena have been studied since antiquity, though advances in the science were not made until the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. Practical applications for electricity however remained few, and it would not be until the late nineteenth century that engineers were able to put it to industrial and residential use. The rapid expansion in electrical technology at this time transformed industry and society. Electricity's extraordinary versatility as a means of providing energy means it can be put to an almost limitless set of applications which include transport, heating, lighting, communications, and computation. Electrical power is the backbone of modern industrial society, and is expected to remain so for the foreseeable future.
  6. 65% of the time stats you pull from the internet are right all the time.
  7. Nice. I need to get my pile of shit done...
  8. Still waiting to hear why this is so great. CNN has a story about home some of the poor will be left out in the cold on this, thought this was supposed to help them, or just some of them? All these new great taxes make sense too, again I think I remember hearing about some people that revolted against taxes a while back...
  9. That and the .gov sticking their fingers deeper in my b-hole. The federal government should be in the business of keeping Mexico and Canada from invading, leave the rest to the states.

It is so damn hot SWMBOsis is sweating last night's KFC grease and gravy
  11. Have you ever seen welfare fraud in action? I have, many, many times working at a carry-out in southern ohio. Those people do not have the right to a single dime of my tax money. We as a nation support the weak and allow them to drag us down. Help those who need it, not those who do nothing but drag the rest of us down.
  12. Out, drinking beer and blowing shit up at my mom and dad's house.

Facebook is your one stop shop for everything. You can get news, weather, sports, political information, gossip, drinking tips, workout ideas, and naughty pics of people you don't want to see.
  14. Sell me on why this is good, not this political idea fucking crap. I don't care about liberals, the GOP, tea party, or Al mother fuckin Gore, WHY is this good?
  15. So, your employer decides to cancel benefits, and now you have to pay more to get them, how is this better for everyone? I don't like the idea that I could have to pay more for the same thing (or maybe less) than what I have now, just to help "everyone". Am I missing something here? Did our elected leaders just write the insurance companies a blank check to do what they want?
  16. Usually that guy is, however he is citing things that are directly in the law. I will give credit where credit is due, it looks like those sneaky crooks wrote this law correctly. Stay calm, all is well, just accept it and you will be fine....
  17. This is the unintended consequence of this mandate and there will be many more. When this first went through we got an e-mail stating that we needed to “plan for a rise in health care costs from our provider”. Yep, this is a great law, the fat, lazy, and useless get more free stuff, I get to keep working my ass off.
  18. I don't need the government telling me what to do, I have a wife for that.
  19. Don't mind him, he has a touchofdowns.
  20. Because Canada does not have nationalized healthcare, oh wait...
  21. I have no problem helping others, I have a problem helping those who just leach off the system and so should you. I think this mandate is going to just futher the leaching along until we end up like these dirty EU countries. You don't want to help yourself than you can go fuck yourself.
  22. Dead honest I would not be suprised if there are a few who try. Arm enough stupid/crazy people and anything is possible.
  23. Well that is not as bad I guess, still scary I am sure.
  24. The .gov is about to futher fingerblast us all in the ass
