There were six or more juice cars that poped intakes at the ADRL race this past weekend. It was crazy when it happend in the water box you could hear the pop and then about 20 people ran up to the car with fire gear. The would also try to see if there was a fire under the hood by sticking an arm in the scoop The bikes also were banging up some motors but that was mostly at the half track or big end. When those things let go it sounded awful...

I laugh anytime someone makes that sort of statement. If drag racing was easy everybody could be John Force or Bob Glidden. Granted driving a car that is not super fast in the quarter is easy provided you are not a total dumbass. Bracket racing a car at any ET is not an easy task at all.

I rode in Brady's on a 12.87 pass and it was like getting a blowjob from a toothless Megan Fox. Keep TA for the brute nasty and get a 5.0 for a daily if that is the route you can go. Take one for a spin to help make your choice and do what makes you happy.

My statement does not apply do you because I know you race and would race anything with wheels. I guess I don't see the need to be an asshole to people anymore just to do it. Oh well this is CR and I expect nothing less from some on here.

Call Sunbelt Rentals they might be able to do it. If they can't, they might be able to let you know who can. Thank you all for the information on this subject. Seems the torpedo might be the way I go just to make easy on him.

My family is thinking of getting my dad a garage heater as a suprise early christmas gift. I was leaning toward a torpedo k1 style heater. What are some of the units used by the members of CR? How many BTUs should I be looking at? This is for a space about the size of a 3 car garage. It does not need to make it the tropics, but warm enough he can get "Monzilla" ready for the track next year. Pleas try to keep this thread useful...
