Really nothing special outside of the stall converter. At this point I might just do some more suspension stuff and maybe an Intake. I don't really want to add anymore power to the car so I can get the most life out of the drivetrain for a while.
My plan all along with the car has been a bracket car that can be driven on the street and be very consistent at the track. So far I have been very please with everything it has done.
Usually if the track prep is not garbage it will be within a hundredth or two. Yesterday I ran a 12.64, 12.61, and 12.62 as the track got faster. All of my 60's were within two hundredths of each other as well.
Could not have done it without your help!
In the first round I dialed a 12.62 and ran a 12.62 BUT I redlight by the skin on my dick. I am not used to the car hooking that good and it freaking took off harder and quicker than I thought.
I knew as soon as you left the car was in for a good run. I was very impressed with the track prep today. We saw a car hook so good it was on the bumper and damn near went up and over.
If trails could get their track to hook like this they would be packed every time they are open.
You are trying to sell your car, please turn in your man card at the booth
Just for full disclosure I don't give a fuck what you drive as long as it is loud, fast, and dangerous. A well built mustang is badass unless you are a terrorist...
When the guy and his wife took delivery of the car you would think the won the show case showdown on the prices is right.
If the customer is that happy you have done it right.
I am actually using you car as the blueprint for what I will be doing with my car. The way you have matched everything up and the way it performs should be used as an example for how to make an F-Body hook and book.
You actually have taught me a great lesson in working on my own shit rather than paying someone else to do it. I will NEVER make that mistake again unless it is somethign I can't do.
I was standing there when that went POP The problem with trails is when there is heat and they don't do anything to stay ahead of the track it gets sloppy.
Right now I think I will just deal with traction issues and keep the car intact until I make baller money and can update the rear.
