  1. If its the bike you want get it don't settle for something else. If you finance it you will be under it for a while. If you have to wait now for what you want save your money to get what you want. If you finance and then want something else you can either suck it up and settle or sell it for less then you owe and be that much short on money you could use towards the one you really want. Also don't buy one on a whim, you may regret it. Research the bikes you are interested in and talk to people who ride them find out what they like and dislike about it. Most will not admit to not liking their bike so you may have to ask what they would change about the bike to make it better. If its a great deal on the other hand you need to jump on it and can't use the above advice so its a judgment call on your part. Don't let 2 days of driving keep you from the bike you want.

  2. Have you had anyone interested in buying a bike from you over that might have taken it? I have heard that sometimes thieves will pose as potential buyers and use the opportunity to scope out your garage and see how easy they can make a steal on the other stuff in there.

  3. 870 has always been my choice for home defence. I bought the short barrel with the extended tube. It makes trap and skeet shooting a little more challenging. I like that if I have to use it inside my house I won't have to worry about the long barrel giving me away around corners. I don't have to keep the gun held straight up or down and can keep it shouldered so its ready if I need to shoot.

  4. Hate to say it about a sponsor, but I don't like the way they do business. Been in there a few times the sales man was way to pushy, wouldn't even start the bikes unless I gave him a $500 deposit. Most of the salvage bikes were price pretty close to what retail on a clean title. The sales man said the prices were negotiable but only after a $500 deposit. I asked what happens if I don't like the way the bike runs or if we can't agree on the price? He stated I would get the money back. I said so what is the deposit for if I don't like it i get the money back but with out the deposit I can decide if I like the bike and price I can get it? Why have the deposit if I can get it back for any reason? He said that's how we run our business. I told him I felt that he was being way to aggressive about getting the deposit and possibly making me waste more of my time going to the atm to put a deposit on a bike I don't know if it starts. Then he said well it sounds like your wasting my time. I told him no problem I will leave but do not call me about this bike. (They make you sign in when you come in with your phone number). He changed his tune and said well how about you talk with our finance guy see what you two can agree on. I said OK. He then asked for the deposit before I could talk to the finance guy. I told him I felt that was stupid and told him not to call me because I will never by a bike there because I don't like the way they do business. About a week later I had a voicemail from the sales man telling me they were really trying to make room for new inventory and the price on the zx10 i was looking at has dropped call us back for an appointment. I didn't. Two days later I was able to get the call and kindly asked not to call again and assured him I would never buy a bike there. But that's just my experience. I've been biting my tongue since I joined the forum but it seems they have another person convinced their getting a deal on a polished turd.

  5. 2923.16 I mproperly handling firearms "in" a motor vehicle.[basically says you can't carry a loaded firearm.

In as in inside can be defined as enclosed within. He was on the motorcycle not in the motorcycle. Had he had the gun in an under seat compartment or saddle bag then he would be in violation. If the law stated you can't carry a loaded firearm while operating a motor vehicle or as a passenger in or on a motor vehicle. Then he would be in violation. But because the law is written as it is he is not in violation.

  6. The one in Delaware doesn't allow it. I also have Verizon. I remember seeing a post on here with a video of a guy robbing one with a gun and I believe someone said that that one has the do not carry in here sign also. The point I'm trying to make is that restricting where guns can and can't go only affects law abiding citizens who follow those laws. Not the criminals who know they can rob that place and chances are they will have the only gun in there.

  7. Nope. Once you investigate what defines "motor vehicle" in Ohio' date=' you'll see that he is fuxored.[/quote']

I'm not talking about the definition of motor vehicle I'm talking about being "on"a motor vehicle while the law applies to "in" a motor vehicle. If your out somewhere where open carry with out a permit is allowed. You decide to sit on the trunk of your car with the gun being openly carried. It would seem you would be on the car not in the car and not violating the law. Or you drive to a friends property to do some shooting. You get there load up a couple of firearms and set them on the trunk of your car. Does that mean your in violation of the law because you have a loaded weapon on your motor vehicle? I don't think so.

Now I don't agree this guy should have tried this without his chl. But I do believe that any law abiding citizen has the right to carry a gun at all times. Problem is they make laws against that not realizing criminals don't care. They still rob liquor stores with guns even though its against the law to have a gun in one.

  8. I mean, killing, even in self defense, is not in the bible. So many American Christians don't make that connection. Not to say that I wouldn't do it if I was threatened, but what is a pastor doing carrying?

Um killing is in the bible. They killed Jesus, hello!

Seriously I think that a good lawyer could beat this on the "in a motor vehicle" part. Yes he was on a motor vehicle but the law states "in a motor vehicle". From my understanding . The man in question was not "enclosed" in a vehicle. I believe the most this will do is change the wording of the law to include "on a motorized vehicle such as a motorcycle.".
