  1. I'm down to ride my bike should be outta service in marysville about 1pm. I plan on riding after that. I'm comin home about 6pm in Delaware to pick up my gf then head to qs&l. If you wanna cruise we can. Where u wanna ride.

  2. Well I know what your going through it took a lot of convincing to get my gf on my CBR after I traded my cruiser in on her birthday. (shes still angry bout that). You just gotta convince her you will take it easy and ease her into it.

3 miles longest distance why did you stop that soon. Sounds like she's not too into your riding hobby. My girl friend feels nervous about riding but now she's a champ on the bike. When we go to the Monday bike night we ride 42 miles each way. That's an average ride for us I don't know where everyone gets the idea that you can't ride 2-up on a sport bike.

  3. Next time ask them in advance how much it will cost. By law' date=' they have to give you an estimate. Don't blame them... you didn't do your part.

On a more friendly note... NinjaNick is right. $210 is only 3 hours @ $70/hour. They prolly charge at least that for labor.[/quote']

True prevention is key. I shop around for service for my car and bike its normally within 20 bucks for normal service. I always ask what the out the door total cost will be before I even schedule the service. Before I hang up I make sure I have written down the price and person I spoke to. I know its probably annoying to the person on the other end of the line but I gotta look out for myself. Also id rather be annoying on the phone than irate at the counter trying to argue a useless argument about charges for something that's already finished.

  4. YOU YOUNG PUNKS STAY OUTTA THIS GOD FEARIN' TOWN. DON'T WANT NONE O' YOUR KIND, DON'T NEED NONE O' IT!

    :D

Just kidding. I hardly ever run into anyone even knowing where Radnor is much less growing up here. Yes, I do live in Radnor, we moved here almost four years ago.

It is a nice little parade, if we stay in town that weekend I will be marching with my Son's Cub Scout Den.

The Hog Roast is put on by the volunteer Fire department so all proceeds will go to support them. They usually have a silent auction along with the hog roast and all the trucks and gear there for people to see. Two years ago they had the Med-Flight helicopter there on display.

Sorry to say buxnut but with 19 years in radnor I think this young punk has you by seniority. LOL. Didn't think any one from Delaware was on here let alone radnor. I promised my 6 year old nephew he could ride with me in the parade if the weather is ok. Where abouts in radnor are ya. I grew up in the hillbilly house next to coonfares garage.

  5. That seems high I would ask them to break it down and show you how much everything costs. Find out what the 600 srvice is (what all is done). You should be able to find it in your manual. That way u know if they charged you for something you didn't need.

  6. The town I grew up in has a memorial day parades. It doesn't cost anything to participate. It's a really nice parade I plan on riding in it. If anyone wants to also ride in it or just watch it let me know I will post up details. The parade ends at the cemetary and is followed by a memorial service. Then after the service there is a hog roast at the fire station.

  7. Maybe, I havent got my memorandum title in the mail yet and my temp tags are expired today

Welcome. I had lost mine and when it came time to renew my tags I didn't have it. I told the ladies at the title agency I never had one mailed showed em some purchase paperwork and two forms of id I think they charged me 5 bucks for it.

  8. This means nothing without video lol. come on man were is the flip video camera or at least your cell. I so could have injoyed this more being able to watch him going down the side walk. I would have wanted to see the peoples faces after he passed them.

Wish I had video but I really didn't expect to see it or anything out of the ordinary. Then as he went by I just stared in disbelif. What woulda been great is if one of the pedestrians refused to move. Either way that would have ended would be great.

  9. I went to the post office today. As I removed my helmet I heard a sport bike coming. When I turned to look I was surprised to see an r1 driving down the side walk. It appeared the guy had pulled out of the udf on the corner wanting to go left. But the traffic was backed up for about half a block so he couldn't get through. The side walk was also busy with people walking on it. This was on the Ohio Wesleyen campus at about 330pm and a lot of people were around. Also the bike had 30 day tags on it. This dude isn't wasting any time trying to get himself in trouble with the bike. All he had to do if he didn't want to wait for a chance to turn left, was turn right onto the road at the other exit of the gas station. Then go around the block. Instead he chose to drive down the side walk and about tbone a car leaving the post office parking lot.

Don't get me wrong I'm not perfect. I have gone faster than the speed limit and my front wheel sometimes comes off the ground. But its riders like this that piss people off and give sport bike riders a bad image.

  10. well i guess youd b loving your self have a 89 all stock and my speedo tops out at 180 and all the others ive seen are the same my 600 toped out on the speedo at 160 so research more reliable sources .

"1994 Suzuki year code: R 1994 year's GSX1100SR (see picture above) had different technical specifications for the first time since launch in 1981. Even the engine had different character. As the earlier versions had 111 bhp, the new version of the engine was powered down to 95 bhp. The torque was also decreased, from 9.8 kg-m at 6,500 rpm to 8.6 kg-m at 4,000 rpm. The displacement, bore and stroke were still the same but the carburetors different and the oil capacity was increased from 4 liters to 4,2. The ignition advance system became digital. displacement, bore and stroke were still the same but the carburetors different and the oil capacity was increased from 4 liters to 4,2. The ignition advance system became digital. ignition advance system became digital. When decreasing the power output, even the top speed on the speedometer was limited from 240 km/h to 180 km/h. The tank was made smaller, from 22 liters to 19. smaller, from 22 liters to 19. The clutch was now electrically power assisted and the front suspension infinitely adjustable. Rear shocks were updated from traditional upright shockers to modern double tube upside down type shockers with gas chamber attached to the side. chamber attached"

it goes on. That's from suzukicycles.org but seeing that you have an 89 I guess that means you know all about the 94's. Didn't know there was a katana expert lurking on here.
