I'd like to meet some of you folks but I'm not sure where this is going to take place based on the posts so far. Is there a date and location that has been settled on yet?

Well...I've got 6 gallons in the tank and while my mileage won't be as good as yours, I routinely go 200 miles between fuel stops and that's mixed driving. Since the RK has a touring bike suspension, expressway isn't a comfort or speed problem, just a scenic problem from my point of view. Besides, I wouldn't go on the trip just for the speed, I have plenty of time and do that locally. Keep me in the loop anyway. I haven't ruled this one out.

It's no biggie. I just figure some day they'll mature enough to realize the error of their ways.

Hi Folks! Just joined this site to see what summer rides people are planning. I've got an 08 HD Road King with a few engine upgrades to make it interesting. Most people say my bike looks like a cop bike so I don't get pulled over and nobody passes me! I enjoy small group riding on backroads and state routes where you can enjoy the scenery. Anybody in the general area that is looking for or planning rides let me know! I've got lots of vaca time this summer.

I'm interested if it's no later than July or Early August and if a guy on a Harley is welcome. I might have to bring up the rear.....but I'd catch up on the gas stops..... I've been wanting to get up that way for a while. Still, I'd have to get a pass from the little woman. Do you ride the e-ways or SR's?
