79 Yamaha XS650 runs great, it does need a few things to be perfect. It will need tires to be ready for the spring ride ( I have a back tire just not installed but comes with it) It has a kick start which is how I have been starting the bike and it worked fine for me, but if you want it will need a new battery to use the electric start and maybe new handle bar control button (button is missing but can be started by using something else ie screwdriver) The turnsignals have been replaced and work (pics are from before being replaced) The only trade I'm looking for would be an '02 newer CRF450, CRF250 or CR250. 71 Honda CB350 mostly original including the tires and grips, exhaust has been replaced but still have original (original is rotted and dented). Was sitting in a garage for a long time. The tank is faded on one side from sitting on the window side. I have a 87 yamaha fz7 I believe it has been bored out to a 900. Very strong fast bike. Currently in process of putting a custom tail from a 00 r1. Looks good already. Just needs painted and a fuel petcock. It will hold fuel but it has a slow leak in the petcock. $40 brand new for the petcock. I will be asking 1600 when the bike is finished being painted and the new petcock is installed. Just need to make some room for new toys. This would make a great starter bike.
