This bike has never been on the ground, I am selling this bike to start on other projetcts, since I obviously dont have time to ride it (only rode 300 miles this year). Here is the list of upgrades that has been done to the bike. BST Carbon fiber wheels, Michilin Powr pilot tires, Wave rotors (F&R), Galfer braided stainless brake lines (F&R) D.I.D. chain and gears (down 2 teeth in the front and up 3 in the rear) will now pull to redline in sixth gear (198 M.P.H.) which stock R1 will not do. This is a New Old Stock 4 into 2 system. It was made in the late 70's and has sat ever since. On the parts tag in the box it does not have a year that this will fit, but knowing it was made in the late 70's I am going to guess it was made for the mid to late 70's CB500 & CB550's. Please take a look at the pictures and compare them to your bike before you buy to make sure. All chrome is in great condition, NO RUST!
