Explorer is the 2000 XLT model. one of the best of the explorer models. it comes with the Dual power seats, rear air, the roof rack, cruise control, ABS, running boards, power windows, and locks. Also has keyless entry, has multi compact disc, with cassete player too, alloy wheels, all wheel drive, and 4 wheel drive, premium sound, sunroof/moonroof, towing package, and the tilt wheel. There is small cosmetic issues, such as some rust on running boards, and bumper, but that is normal. It has 158,000 miles on it, but the motor only has 88,000. The paint is shiny and in good condition. I have ridden the bike up and down the road a few miles and everything feels ok. I know that the stereo works fine and it comes with a luggage rack/basket that fits into a "draw-tite" type receiver on the rear of the trike. To the best of my knowledge there are no known mechanical issues with the bike, engine, or drive-train. There are a few small quirks, (key sticks in one of the saddle bag locks, etc.) Nothing major. Comes with (2) helmets and has the intercom system in the helmets. Has aftermarket wind visors on the sides just above your shins to keep the wind off and has highway pegs that allow you to stretch your legs on a long trip. The trike conversion was done by "The Trike Shop".It says that in several places on the bike and on the handlebars. I have a friend who tells me that it was a "Moto Trike" brand conversion. I have a good running 2001 400ex im wanting to trade for a Dirt bike, 2 stroke or 4 stroke whatever 125+ only? dont matter. must start and run, theres no issues with this quad all it needs if front tires.. its a stock bore 400, valves and valve seats are perfect. has new brakes,Cam(hotcam stage 1), cam bearings, timing chain, and rings, new engine parts have aprox 15 to 20 hours on them and didnt need to be replaced they were all upgrades for piece of mind. other upgrades are holeshots on the rear, nerf bars, gripper seat, k&n air filter, renthal bars and k&n fuel filter.
