  1. I'd prefer to have mine stay on two wheels, on the road. What are frame sliders? Helmet for sure. I'll also look into knee pads and ear plugs. So anything else guys or is that about it?
  2. thats a lot of blood Yeah, I'll for sure be riding with L's and I's. I don't want to spend a shit ton, just something of good quality that will keep me safe. ^ All very helpful, thanks much. Yeah not trying to be road pizza in my first year of riding.
  3. There we go. I don't think my insurance could be any higher right now. Oh well, this will be well worth it. I was just throwing out a price of what I thought gloves would cost. Thanks
  4. Thanks guys, in a perfect world we should be able to count like that. I'm sure you understood what the numbers meant. I had already marked down insurance, sales tax on the bike, things like that. I can add pants to the list too. I didn't know riding pants were required.
  5. So mods can move this if it's in the wrong section. This seemed like the most sensible place to post. I just wanted/needed a full list of what extra cost come with getting a bike so I know kinda $$$ I need this year. So far I have: 1.Bike, paying X amount of dollars for it. then comes a tune up if it needs one. also for X amount of dollars. Body work and paint may apply. 1. Helmet. $300+? 2. Riding gloves. $100+? 1. Jacket. $500-700? 2. Boots/shoes. $100- already priced @ local shop. 0 mods. well...maybe yoshi pipe. Now I know some of you are thinking "Good job r-tard you know what comes with a bike." Just making sure I didn't miss anything.

The TV show is stipid IMO. The actual rally on the other hand is brilliant. Only down side is $20k to enter. I'm saving my pennies so I can enter the $150k Gumball 3000 one day... One day.
  7. Two blocks from Shaker. Between Buckeye and Kinsmen, off MLK.
  8. You are correct sir. I used to go there for school and am in the area every now&then.
  9. Hey everyone, names Jason and I'm on the east side of Cleveland. I actually don't have a bike yet but I'm trying to find one this summer. Never rode before so it'll be my lil 250cc probably. Unless I go in on a 600 and granny gas it for a while until I learn how to fully ride. I lurked on NASIOC(North American Subaru Owners Club) for a while, asking questions, learning, ect before I bought my car last year. So I plan to do the same here. I have the basic knowledge of riding down packed from watching people ride, reading A LOT of books, online articles, how to vids across the web, and of course, lots of forums. Gixxerforums, cbr forums, zx-forums, ect. The only thing I'm missing is some actual seat time. Well that and my bike temps. I know this is a bike forum but I figured I would bring what I have to the table. It's slow and un-modded but I love her to death, if anyone wants more pics I do have them. I hope to join some of you NEO guys soon for rides and meets. I nearly had a heart attack when I went to bike night at QS&L this summer. NEVER knew so many bikes gathered there. Cheers.
