My wife is actually considering making our own food for the guy. I'm not too sure about this idea - so if anyone has any thoughts on it let me know. She's been doing some reading up, and you can actually end up saving some money and also get to know the protein quality (chicken/turkey/whatever) that goes into the grub. Anyway, interested to hear if anyone knows anything about this.

I have heard of people going to SAMs or Costco and stalking up on the meats they have as the weekly special and freezing it to use at a later date. Just keep in contact with your vet to make sure he gets the right nutrients. If you add some fish oil to it his coat will be all nice and shinny.

I have been looking at a ton of pictures online and alot of the bunkers and stuff are all over grown but the airfield on tinian should still be visable. I scuba dive so I am going to try and take an underwater photography class to get some shots of the tanks and planes around the islands.

I will be back on 2 wheels at the end of the month after I move to Saipan!!!! I got another flying job and this time it is out in the middle of the Pacific Ocean island hoping along the Northern Mariana Islands. As soon as my season ends here in Maine I will be back in Ohio for a week then hoping on a plane to move out there. My buddy is out there right now and moving back mid October at which point I will be buying his scooter off of him. I'm a little nervous making such a huge move but the idea of 70-80 and sunny every day makes it a little less scary.

Airlines are not the government. They government could do away with those list and the airline could still refuse to fly them. People get kicked off flights all the time.

Well I used to work in the ICU for children and ran a heart lung machine called ECMO. The pump alone can hold 2-4 units of packed red blood cells, Platelets and Albumin. Some babies can go through a lot of blood quickly. I'm always very thankful to the people that donate and we always made sure we didn't waste the blood we got. Also it doesn't last that long and always needs to be available.

Just think, children that are receiving chemo may need blood transfusions or platelets every week or more and these are the healthy ones. The sick ones like the ones I used to see might receive blood two or three times a day.

So for all those who donate I thank you and my last motorcycle accident I almost needed blood. My Hct was very low but I was asymptomatic. Lets just hope we have enough people that do donate and don't get pissy when they call.

As far as the donation of blood and the red cross charging please.... Ever wonder how much it costs to draw it, separate the blood components, test it, store it, ship it, and to be insured. Those people in their white lab coats aren't cheap.

My thoughts exactly. They don't transfer straight blood to people. That stuff has to be cleaned out and separated. I can't donate blood other wise I would. I am surprised how many people on here are oposed to it considering they might need it if they ever get in a motorcycle accident.

If I have it's been a long time. I pack everything up then put my bags by the door and do a sweep of the room. All the towels go in the bathtub, go through the sheets then pile them on the bed, look under the bed, then check all the rest of the furniture.

Or how about teach your kid a lesson to take care of his shit better. Should have told the hotel to donate it to some kid who doesn't have any toys or get to go on vacation. It's not the hotels fault neither you nor your child can keep track of a stuffed animal.

I pretty much hate tow truck drivers so I don't see too much wrong here. Everyone gets their asses kicked and you go home and have a beer.

I am looking to move my stuff from my current house into a storage unit. The only large items will be a queen mattress set, antique trunk and tool box on wheels. There will be a few boxes and some plastic storage containers. If anyone wanted to save me a couple bucks and come by next Saturday when my mom will be there I will make sure you get paid and have plenty of pizza and beer.

What am I missing? Unless the homeowner is having the Mustang towed for blocking the driveway?
