If I wasn’t working nights today, I would be down for a ride. I probably won’t be up until noon-ish. Then I’m due back at 1800 hrs. I might be able to meet you at Wallace Lake, and ride for a few hours!?!

I agree, save your money for the 09. You should be able to get about 2k off the 09 right now, and the colors are better then the 2010, IMO. You will love the 09 R1, it’s like two bikes in one. The low down grunt of a V twin, and the top end of a inline-four. This is the best bike I’ve owned, hands down. My old bikes, 00 CBR 600 F4 01 YZF-R1 03 YZF-R1

Will do bro, ordered them today along with a fender eliminator. I changed them to carbon cans with aluminum end caps. Here is two photos on a different R1 with my pipes I have coming.

Those are some sick bikes you have there! What a small world, you’re the guy with the blue Yamaha hoodie on when I picked up my bike last Sat. If Hans can shorten the exhaust cans by two inch, I would probably run HMF’s on my bike. My 03 R1, and my wife’s 06 GSXR-750 both have Hans pipes. They have a low deep sound to them.
