when Yahoo messenger is open click the "Messenger" tab at the top go down to "preferences" once the "preference" tab is open the tabs on the left look for "calling & audio" then there is a little box about halfway down that says "play a ring tone when I receive a call" make sure there is a check mark in the box then you should be good to go man
